@@Jeter1230its because Nexon has a different team of devs for each game and they arent really hyperfocusing on TFD for their budget. Take note they are also developing Vindictus Defying Fate. Korean MMOs have always leaned towards having sexualized characters and they are known for mostly focusing on core gameplay mechanics rather than story. As for combat variety, pretty sure it will only scale up from here. The game is 5 months old and so far they have done a pretty good job keeping a good chunk of their playerbase all they have to do now is focus on producing more content that capitalizes on how the gameplay loop is and how extrinsic rewards will be

Also instead of 400% only, they can go further beyond. Incremental Missions. It increases enemies coming at you by 50% every 4 minutes, and buffs enemies by 25% every 2 minutes, and every 5 minutes you get wave rewards and increases loot by 100%.

The problem is not the Outpost cooldown. Its Sharen drop rate, it should be a 100% drop, when complete successfuly, because even if you get the amorphous material that doesn't mean you get the stuff youre looking for once you open the amorphous material.

the outpost cooldown is 100% a problem. i play the game to shoot things not just sit there looking at the screen doing nothing waiting for the outpost respawns. 3 hours of outpost runs is almost 3hours of doing nothing but waiting on the outpost to respawn. would be more fun if the outpost lasted 5 mins but constant action and instant respawn rather than the 10 seconds with 1 min respawn that we currently have.

I would like to play the game on my own terms not based on pointless rules that kill the fun. Honestly, my biggest issue with the game is no missions. Once you play the intro it really is just grind parts. I need a reason to play other than grinding for parts just to make my gun better in the same missions that I’ve been grinding for the last five hours. Think Destiny in terms of a raid that needs true co-op with rewards that are only obtainable through completion. Looking forward to the future of the game.

5:48 Yeah I'm one of those burnt out players because of the grind. I guess I must still have some interest in this game if I'm randomly clicking on videos months after I uninstalled it lol. I was in most of its betas and was rooting for it, but the grind sucked out all the fun, and that's coming from a Warframe vet. Maybe once season 2 comes I'll hop back in and see the changes, but for now, eh.

same here. i grinded for ult bunny for 2 weeks, then all the grinding to level her up over and over for installing formas got me really burned. hope they'll add a mode for exp gaining like the onslaugh sanctuary in warframe, some exp boost here and there would be great too

I 💯 agree with everything you commented on here... I, too, had to resort to having music videos running while farming outpost and to this day has been by far the most tedious aspect of the game... So tedious for me, that I have only really specifically targeted them for weapons... I caved in and swiped for the ultimates that I didn't get while acquiring those weapons... I was done... saying that. I am looking forward very much to season to mega dungeons etc. I really need something to actually test my builds now.. keep up the great content mate..

This is how clever the devs are. They put the new descendants in front of your eyes. They did this with Luna In Albion it's a particular character that was in the storyline name reina. She standing around in Albion they devs purposely put her there. She wasn't there before Dev said they the going to do some rework on certain descendants and hopefully Luna is one of them she a unpopular descendant and her kit yeah we don't want the mini game. Allow her to shoot freely without the need of the mini game. Let shoot freely like Octavia

Both games are repetitive it's part of the genre after all, the problem for me comes when the repetitiveness is completely pointless. I don't want to spend money to skip the game that's the problem, for me there is no point grinding anything in warframe when whales can just do it in 10 minutes, it makes it valueless. TFD is starting to have the same problem with making everything braindead easy after whiners cry about it. The difference for me is warframe is 10+ years old and still boring. I can only stand afk in those survival or excavator missions or run through that corpus ship so many times before I quit. If TFD is still boring after 2 years I will quit too.

Im always skeptical with Nexon. They ruined many games with P2W and also locked regions out of other. That said, TFD looks like its getting very good updates. I hope promises made for S2 become a reality. Also, I think that orderwise Ultimate Luna should be a LOT later. We should have at least U. Sharen, and, even tho male characters are a lot less popular, they should release at least 2 Ultimate males too. Maybe in one patch, but almost all males were released before Luna, so it would be pretty unfair. That said, Im really hoping that U Sharen brings a much needed rework for her, just as you guys say. People pushing for male ultimates is weird to me. 1. Sex sells it is what it is and I personally don’t like male designs because they’re always diesel necks and never a lanky build 2. The male characters literally are all mostly underwhelming and the guys that are good it’s because they’re are support characters 3. Crying about Male release should be at the bottom of the list when half of the roster feels similar. Reworks to kits should be one of the top complaints amongst the community

honestly i think if you managed to stealth the outpost, they should simply not spawn a boss and only make you clear out the remaining enemies... OR... spawn only the boss but with no additional ads... enforcing sharen as a "stealth" character... also maybe increase the additional amorphous material drops by 5 or 10%

Literally had to farm 500 zone missions for 100 amorphous just to get the LAST copy for Secret Garden (not counting the 4 other SGs I had ti get to max gun). Ultimate Viessa dropped TEN TIMES during it before ONE Secret Garden showed up Grind is HORRIFIC! And just remember you’re playing the SAME MISSION that ENTIRE TIME! I do my best to grind out some weapons and descendants at the same time to vary gameplay but inevitably (especially for low chance ones like that piece for SR which is 10% everywhere no matter where you go) you will face similar gameplay for some equipment. And that makes also one of the most BORING GRINDS of all time too! I’ve almost rage quit for good from this game over its grind system wasting my life outside working for a living for no fun whatsoever. They better make it either easier or more fun to do in the future

There’s other ways: 1: make the mission much longer with double the rewards Have the timer be a longer time than once everyone leaves the outpost have it set to 5/10 seconds like special ops. 2: add dark zones where players can run and the enemies stop tracking them right away this way you can use your menus and stuff, that also puts all the players on the same page. 3: remove the need for hiding altogether and the need for Sharen, sounds like they are doing that already. 4: when the outpost ends kick all players out to a safe zone close by or behind the walls so everyone is already in hiding when it starts. ------- Comment 2 Addressing your points: 1: Devs are changing it so Sharen isn’t needed so it won’t matter if they have her or not. 2: if someone needs to use a menu that’s their choice and problem it shouldn’t effect others, if players want to play as you look in your menus it’s fine. 3: it doesn’t matter that it’s a free game, if that mattered devs wouldn’t be changing it. It’s not free for me I’ve paid for most skins and you can’t buy weapons outright so it doesn’t matter if a have money I’d still have to wait. Free doesn’t mean i like standing around doing nothing, 30 seconds becomes minutes then hours over time it adds up. Just setting there with 3 people next to you waiting for it to start happens 90% of my runs because everyone is literally ready. 4: “If 1 player messes up within 10 seconds you now have a 40 second delay, minimum” With respect wrong, you can cloak with Sharen and abort mission in like 5 seconds, If you are bunny you can run behind the wall as everything follows you and dies then abort in like 10 seconds or less. 40 seconds is very very very poor gameplay on the part of the player we’ve all been there. 5: bad players will f**k no matter how much or how little time they have, from the 5 minute timer to the 1 minute timer to the 30 second timer they f**k so what’s the difference? 6: “There’s skills with longer cooldowns“ yeah Freyna’s 4 💀 But that doesn’t matter because I can pass most outpost in 20/30 seconds so why should waiting take longer than the actual content? That’s why they lowered it to 30 seconds and even that’s wasting my time almost. More time is less options, less time is more options. The timer is to hide the poor game design.

I think they should buff melee sooner rather than later, sub attack should hit HARD considering the modules it has attached to it, make Sharens Q a 3-4 hit slash combo you can tap. Have it execute different attacks midair. If they do add melee weapons for whatever reason make the parts for it drop from void intercept bosses directly and give them 5 catalyst slots because 10 is long.

The largest problem with outpost farming is having to play sharen. the descendent is nearly trash in Every mode of play. her transcendent modules are nearly as bad. her 4th ability has huge amounts of animation lock. her first ability should have a leap or a speed increase. Hell let her teleport to the targeted enemy and give her 3 charges on it. take off the 600% damage reduction on CFE. Make it 150%. Remove the animation lock on the 4th target the closest 8 to 16. unless she is stealthed. You could even let her second ability grant Others stealth. Or just rework the character and make stealth option a module for the melee. give it a flat 10 second duration that scales with duration. You could do the same thing with Enzos passive then give him something meaningful.

Dude if your are an ambassador for TFD, let them know, at Nexon their SERVERS need to be fixed for PS4 players, I turned down my RESOLUTION TO THE LOWEST, and im still having CRASHING ISSUES, i am a WARFRAME player and without even turning down my Resolution, while ever playing WARFRAME i have never had this problem, so until they get this error fix for PS4 players,i will not be playing TFD...... TFD is being simplified to the point of being obnoxiously boring, beyond what it is now. I think that with advertising of Freyna for the second part of season 1 brought in a bunch of new players, and now the devs are catering to thise players. I'm not suggesting that the "veteran" or elite players should have the game to themselves, but a lot of these changes have really hurt the game. Reactor bosses were turned into loot pinatas. Were they a little too difficult originally, yes. But now, they're just a joke. The change that should've been made first to solve that issue would've been to increase drop chances at outposts to begin with. Or what I suggested months ago when the changes were being discussed, was to have each terminal in the outpost have a favorable drop chance for the Amorphs. Meaning, instead of spending hours grinding to only walk away with 4-6 Amorphs total, you could potentially walk away with 3-4 in one run, but not guaranteed. That would've solved the time gate and grind issue immediately, and the focus wouldn't have been so much on boss difficulty because you felt rewarded for your time in the initial grind. An even bigger elephant in the room now is character reworks. Nexon has completely missed the mark on these. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna call for nerfs and I love Freyna, but Nexon has now put themselves in a spot where the other characters need unavoidable and drastic reworks. Reworks that would change TFD completely from what it is now and that means an overhaul of the entire game itself. Along with Freyna's rework, came the changes to acquisition of mods, that basically made all other characters beside Freyna and Bunny pretty useless novelties or niche situational characters for Intercepts and battle pass achievements. This is a horrible state for the game to be in. The changes I just mentioned have introduced other consequences as well, mainly being the utter elimination of co-op play outside of forced parties on a few Intercepts. The only reason that co-op still exists in this game, aside from the Intercepts, is for newer and inexperienced players to get carried over the hump of something that they're having difficulty with. Which in turn leaves those players without the knowledge and experience it takes to do certain content in the later stages of the game. I know this because I did it with Hanged Man specifically. That may be a horrible example because there is no content in this game, outside of Intercepts, that need co-op play given that Bunny, and now Freyna, exist. The hardest part is just being able to catalyst and get enough resources to max out modules. My last point will be something that I've said since day one, and now a lot of people are starting to speak up about, is that there is nothing to do in the game. Just ask yourself why are we grinding for these weapons and characters? Just to use them in the same content that we've already done a thousand times or more to get said weapons and characters? Yep, that's it, that's all there is to this game, grind for the sake grind. Even 400% missions are trivial at this point, taking less than 2 minutes to complete solo, let alone the same chase Bunny (or Freyna) through the map until the boss room pattern that existed since day one. We need new or expanded areas and different mission types. Another horrible change has been the Defense missions, essentially turning those into another mission type dominated by one character. But we do these level weapons and characters, for what? To do it all over again with just different weapons and characters. Even Intercepts have become a monotonous grind for components that never have any decent stats or a certain meta set is locked behind the more difficult content. If Nexon were to expand the maps, expand the types of missions, that would by default allow them to place rewards in more areas without having to make these ridiculous changes to things that didn't need to be fixed to begin with. So, that's my take on all this and why TFD is and can be absolutely called boring. I used to sit and play for few hours everyday. Now, I can't stand to play more than 30 minutes, especially if I decide to go do something co-op and everyone in the mission is just in a pissing match of getting the most kills or racing to the boss room. Even in Intercepts, people aren't working together, they're in a pissing match of being the DPS king. I honestly believe that game is in a worse state than it was at the beginning of season 1. If you really take an objective hard look at many of the changes made so far, they benefit Nexon and not the player. I could give a shit less about UI changes that most people seem to clap about. Give me something to do, give me a reason to sit down for 2-4 hours a night other than battling manipulated drop chances for parts of things that I'll never use anyway (I have everything available and fully upgraded including all characters with multiple builds, MR25). One thing that I hope can drive my point home, and that people should really consider before they start praising Nexon, is that have they changed the monetization on coloring your skins? Nope! Even though we can acquire some in game more than before, are they still one time use? Yep! To me, this is all you need to know about Nexon, TFD and how they view you as the player.

I have 1000 hours and have everything all ultimate weapons enhanced to max etc and I actually completely agree with you. The game was 100% in a better state pre season 1 and at the start of it. Just yesterday i did gluttony out of interest no on was even shooting the ice balls just dpsing and people went down they ignored each other and just respawned to dps as quick as possible again. As much as it pains me to admit it the game really is just BORING. I sunk 800 hours in pre season one and barely 200 since it. I just log in do the dailies make a catalyst and activator and log out. Season 2 it really feels like is make or break moment for this game. Season 1 was the damaging blow, a massive one too. But season 2 if it doesn't land, will be the killing blow for this game.

I play this game super casually (an hour if that a day) its not worth my time unlike waframe (3 to 4 hours a day during the week 6 to 8 on the weekend). I cant believe there are players that still consume this game so heavily the flaws are unreal and nexon is having selective listening

The issue with this game imo is that the devs aren't like GGG, they don't play their own game and it shows. It's all about the little things that gamers can spot quickly, but the cash grabbers can't. A simple example would be pressing j to pull up "access info", and the g to switch to the map, but then being unable to press j to switch back to the other menu. Don't even get me started on the item shop, (especially the paint). And for any of you white knight copium types out there that wanna defend this crap, I'd strongly suggest you first take a look at the state of Dungeon Fighter Online here in the USA.

I don't like that they are removing a mode for Sharen to excel in specifically. They aren't going to remove modes bunny excels in nor remove enzo from the vaults so why specifically nerf sharen? This is an example of bad catering to players. I prefer to play sharen over bunny anyday as currently they are the only ones who are electric. Sexism needs to stop being the crutch leaned on i prefer to play as male characters and will actually try not to play as females as i seek a character to become my avatar and i don't prefer what people call "sexy"(it's swanky not sexy). Grind is good not bad but it needs to feel rewarding and that is the reality. Nexon should not cater excessively to the player base and honor some creative discretion.

I enjoy TFD. Off topic now though but Kojima's game Death Stranded is on XSX now out of the blue and thinking about buying it. It is on sale for $20. Is it worth it? I know it isn't so action type and more simulator but seems refreshing to me. I might buy it.

Wrong I do feel the cooldown, and if I need to look at my stuff in a menu I can leave and do that, Needing to look at your stuff is a pretty poor excuse, the timer is to waste the players valuable time, Also 30 seconds becomes minutes then hours of time over time spent for no reason, timer should be in the players control not inflated by even 5 seconds.

All they have to do is to make lvling character and weapons done in one mission even if its a big one just one mission and this alone would make the grind about 50% less other than that the 5x requirement of farming of each weapon is a very stupid idea when some parts just refuse to drop if there is an alternate drop or exchange option or rework of that requirement can single handedly make this game top one

The game in all needs to be fixed for getting descendant parts i have been grinding for our ultimate toxic girl and have not gotten any of the 4 parts i have got everything else but those it's bs you get everything but parts for people and a bunch of the gold guns it's like I should not have to grind for months to get a piece you need or have to pay for them so you can get your descendant the strongest and everything else to max op before you can have fun

The reason your PS4 is crashing this game is because it really can't handle it I was with a random and I loaded in the dungeon and I started the mission and the random spawned in late. That's because he was on the PS4 by the time he spawned. In I had half the mission done already. That's an example that it can't keep up with PS5 and PS5 pro and PC and. I highly recommend you upgrade to the PS5 pro or ps5 standard because now the pro is out Sony is going to shut down the PS4 server completely and be done with it because not e Sony has the pro and PS5 on the server And they're not going to fund the ps4 anymore. There won't be no more games made for the PS4 now that the pro is out So therefore get you a PS5 or PS5 pro before Sony decides to shut down the PS4 servers sometime next year and you won't be able to get on line with it anymore with ps4
