More about Gianmarco:
Gianmarco Soresi is a stand-up comedian, actor, and a little too much for some people. He’s told jokes on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central, Netflix’s Bonding, Don’t Tell, The Real Housewives of New York for some reason, and he was a JFL New Face in 2022. He’s acted in Billy Crystal’s Here Today, Hustlers, The Last OG, and in his theater days shared the stage with some people who’ve gone on to become huge real estate agents. You can see him post the kind of crowdwork clips that are arguably destroying the artform of stand-up comedy everywhere @gianmarcosoresi and he obviously has a podcast called The Downside with Gianmarco Soresi.🎤

Why? As a non theather kid, please explain
@AsterBTT
@AsterBTT Ай бұрын
@@CraftBasti The number comes from the Broadway musical and subsequent 2005 movie adaptation, "Rent". It was very popular and highly acclaimed in the 90s, and was something of a cultural phenomenon, especially for the theatre crowd, as it was a musical about the struggles of artists trying to make their way in NYC. The material also dealt with topics like HIV and AIDS, which both have complex cultural and medical histories, which made Rent even somewhat infamous. Even as a non-theatre kid, growing up in the 90s, I became familiar with it, much like how non-readers became familiar with Twilight or non-gamers became familiar with Pokemon. In particular, the song the number comes from, "Seasons of Love" is quite the earworm, thus the number lives in my head, "Rent-free".

I am not proud of this story, for the record. So I have a very very high tolerance for anger, I don't often get mad at people, unless it's a person online and they become not people for some reason..well, my bathroom faucet was dripping and I couldn't stop it, I set my coffee down on the side of the tub to stack things up so the dripping sound would be less loud. It wasn't working and I got so mad I PUNCHED MY COFFEE AS HARD AS I COULD and coffee went everywhere. If anyone cuts me off in traffic or does something stupid I don't get upset, but dripping faucet made me unhinged.

I'm converting, and doing Reform so don't technically need to keep kosher, and as of right now I am not... maybe someday (disability gets in the way). But I've hated pork products since like the third grade, and so I don't find bacon cheeseburgers exciting, I find my lack of liking pork convenient. But I ended my first Passover a day early (cause again Reform, I can do that)... and had a nice spaghetti with marinara, and tons of parm on it.
