Ong I have the stocked Mazda hatchback 2008 and I'm glad he coming out with a new version of it. It's looks clean and smooth . Looks like I'ma keep mine and buy this one hehehe. But you gotta have money for this car to maintain it.

Mazda Spirit Racing prototypes headed for production in Japan. Mazda3 is supposed to have a new performance 2.0L turbo (probably to keep fuel economy down and hp on the top-end up), better than the current 2.5L turbo. No word yet if the car will make it to outside markets, other than just Japan. Keeping fingers crossed.

The hatchback looks like bird puke, while the sedan looks like the best-looking sedan ever! I prefer hatchbacks and have owned many including the Mazdaspeed3. I like both gens, but I prefer the 1st gen. This mazda hatch looks like it has a HUGE blindspot, and that's just uncalled for. Bird, bird puke, bird head design with small openings for the eyes/windows... take your pick!

The blind spot isn’t that bad, it’s a compact hatch. Not to mention blind spot is standard

@davidlockhart663 Opposite. I've driven every mazda3 hatch, and this one is the worst. The others don't have a blind spot. That's the whole reason why hatches, and more specifically the GTi is popular. Because it's essentially a sports car, but without the blind spot. Hot hatch means sports car that u can actually see out of and make actual use of the trunk and interior. A hot hatch = no blind spots. A hatch that has blind spots... go slap those designers. It's like making a shopping cart that is soo sporty that u can't put any groceries in it, because the sides only go up 2in, and then it's dropped so low, any bump and the groceries fall out. Same thing here. Hot hatch= sporty and usuable, including no blind spots.

@@robm7488 Prove it! Who gave the award? Worst Mazda design ever. I'd rather get the CX30 turbo, change the suspension out, and return it to what it should be, a hot hatch... than try to figure out how to cut holes in a mazdas3 hatch, install glass, and fix the ugly and blindspots.

It looks really beautiful. That front spoiler is too big for me otherwise everything else is just perfect. I would buy the CAR, no doubt about that.

Same BS with the infotainment knob & Mazda engineers can’t give us 2 Proper Cup holder for our Morning Coffee.. That’s a Shame ..

Looks like all the did was put some boyish racing stripes, change the spoiler and put annoying feeling Alcantara everywhere. Too much gloss as usual too.
