Yeah, I'm going after them. There are 4 McDonalds within 15 minutes and in the past most of them have had limits on how they sell. Often they don't allow purchasing the packs, and sometimes they allow 1 pack purchase for each happy meal purchase or something reasonable like that. I also have 2 kids so getting 4 meals per visit is the right amount of food. And don't forget you can get apples in there instead of fries. I like how they've been doing smaller sets so it calms the craze a bit compared to several years ago. The boxes might just worsen that problem cuz they're pretty awesome.

I work at McDonald’s so I might have an advantage when it comes to getting some of these for myself. I’m personally only gonna be after 2 cards in this set those being the Charizard and the Umbreon (my 2 favorite Pokémon from the ones here but am tempted to try and get the whole set since I just got back into collecting Pokémon not too long ago)

I have no issue with people purchasing cards without happy meals since health conditions like diabetes etc. are a thing. Or like you mentioned, its not Halal. So instead maybe there should just be a limit of 4 packs per person. Otherwise its wasteful and discriminatory.

People don’t really go crazy over Pokemon card McDonald’s promos from what I’ve seen. You can get some of the older ones for 3 bucks on EBay. This one has Charizard, so maybe it’ll be different but it doesn’t have a holo so you’re probably fine.
