Whiskey Town Lake out of Redding has Kokes that big . Alex Ross is the go to guide on Whiskey Town Lake. He guides there weekly, and really knows the resources.

Great video guys but New Melones is in the Central District of DF&W. I have been warned by local warden that dead or alive trout or kokanee are not approved bait in this or any other district in CA. I read the regs and it looks to me like the local warden is correct. Might want to check into it before a viewer of the video finds out who is right.....the hard way.
