This is the best and most creative video I think I'll find as far as looks with these colours go. I already picked up Mirage from Alter Ego; if I like it ill get a rosey one from them too. I like the color range of this palette, and the contrast. I also like that the looks are colorful but not clownish. Ill check it out. Def not off the table. I dont have any halloween palettes, so I have space for one.

Random question, but you mentioned Patrick Ta: I just found mold in the dark shimmers of my Major Dimension 2 palette and it makes me hesitant to buy from the brand again - have you experienced that? I saw on Reddit a lot of people mentioning it in the same shades.

I had a goth phase in my teenage years and I love the aesthetics of Nightmare Before Christmas but to be honest I never really was a big fan of the movie. 😅 However its definitely worth a watch! I feel like the collection captures the colour scheme of one particular character extremely well and your first look reminded me of her as well. It's a very cute collection! ❤

I feel like I’m one of the few people that does not like The Nightmare Before Christmas, never have. I’m not a fan of Tim Burton movies in general but to each their own…. BUT I LOVE Beetlejuice! One of my favorite movies. I do, however, think this is a cute collection but if I’m going to spend that kind of money on a palette or any item I expect more. I love the looks you created but I feel like I can recreate with what I have in my collection. Also, HAPPY 25K, Steff! So happy for you. You deserve it! ❤

I love Melt's highlighters. They have that glimmery, wet look, but I haven't had the best experiences with Melt palettes. I have 420, Smoke Sessions and She's at Parties, and I didn't have a good time being them to blend. They also just didn't have enough shimmers and the ones they did have weren't spectacular. I feel like their strengths are in their lippies and cheek products.

Hi Steff. Was really happy that you were able to pick up some of the collection. I ordered the collection, I needed that makeup bag with Jack and Sally. You should check out some more of Tim Burton’s movies. He has a different esthetic, but it is quirky , fun and creative. Melt didn’t have any discount codes on their launch day, which was Monday of this week.

I’m impressed with the way those shadows performed especially after those swatches did so poorly. Apparently they just needed a primer. If you like Ooingo Boingo or quintessential 80s music, I think you need to watch Nightmare. Danny Elfman composed the songs and they’re amazing

If you liked Beetlejuice, you will love A Nightmare Before Christmas!! Both are from the mind of Tim Burton and Danny Elfman, who composed the music for Beetlejuice composed for ANBC as well and also does the singing for the main character.

I really like the movie but it's like Tim Burton doesn't know how to end some of his movies. I got the soundtrack for the movie and it seems they took out a scene at the end where Santa visits Jack and Sally again and I think that would've tied it together really well. Oogie Boogie MADE that movie though. The colors the song and like he's a villain you love to hate. I wasn't going to pick up this palette. I got the bag and liners, didn't think the liners would come to sephora, but now I'm thinking I need to just go ahead and get this palette lol. Thank you for these inspiring looks! I've been stuck in a rut of just doing color gradient mono chromatic and I hope you get that new Natasha Denona mini trio-chrome! I want to see the look you do with it.

I’ve never seen the nightmare before Christmas either. I’ve watched the first like 7 mins about 50 times now but I can never get past it for some reason. It just never hooks me. BUT I have seen the corpse bride about 1000000000 times and I don’t think people talk about that Tim Burton movie enough. The corpse bride is just so so good. So I can recommend that one lol

You should see the movie at least once. It came out when I was a baby and remember seeing the promos for it on TV and was scared of it. So I barely saw it last year 😂 I don’t love the movie. It’s kind of boring to me and kind of gross. I think it can also be scary for small children. I don’t really like Tim Burton movies. I didn’t like Corpse Bride. I think he made another movie with Johnny Depp and a British actress about a pie shop, and I thought it was gruesome and boring too. Don’t recommend it. Correct me if I’m wrong about that being a Tim Burton movie. I forgot the name. 😂😂😂 I bought the palette and highlighter with a 10% coupon code from the melt site.

Yes, clearly you need to watch NBC!!! I'm more concerned that you hadn't watched Beetlejuice before last year!!!! With all that said, this palette is a huge disappointment. First, to cost $60 with 10 shades, none that are anything special at all, basic mattes and shimmers. Secondly, the color story is horrible for the movie. It is not good for the beauty community to have a basic palette for that much money sell out, sets a bad precedent for future releases, brands keep raising costs, which if you're selling multichromes, I can understand, but not this.
