Love the E63S, what a weapon of a car. I drove the estate version recently, it's crazy fast and the 4Matic+ system gives you endless grip.

I bought the black sedan with wood trim and brown leather comfort seats. Don’t waste your money on that thin, hard piece of plastic with a tiny layer of leather that will make your chiropractor or back surgeon rich. The carbon ceramic brakes are kind of cool, but totally unnecessary and a stupid way to waste $13 grand. If you have that money to throw around, I’m sure some starving people could use it better than that. The standard AMG brakes are fantastic. Only one complaint: they took until 2021 to switch to the MBUX. For its time, the COMAND system is great, but by the time I bought the 2020, it was out of date. And how do you put the MBUX in the A-class and not the E63S? Makes zero sense. Otherwise it’s spectacular. It’s literally the perfect car. It can do just about everything extremely well. If they copied the velvet seats from the old Chrysler New Yorkers and 5th Aves, it would have been absolutely perfect. Black on red or burgundy velvet? Come on. That’s great stuff. They don’t even have velvet seating in the Maybach S-class. Way to drop the ball in an ultra-luxury car. Leather can be so overrated and so overdone. Hell, Hondas have leather seats as an option. It doesn’t guarantee luxury and comfort anymore. The Acura’s leather seats are hard as a rock. I hard scoliosis surgery shortly after a buddy bought a 2 door Acura CL. No joke. He wasn’t too happy a month in either. There is no other car in this class that does what this sexy, classy beast does. It’s like a combination of Fresh Prince level cool, Daniel Craig’s James Bond and Selena Gomez because it’s super gorgeous, sexy and classy.

The E class had a minor (sort of) facelift a while ago to comply with emissions. In the process they added the new steering wheel. There is a brand new proper facelift coming soon though, it's already been spied testing on public roads.
