Last year, I had a day off due to snow on the day this wave released. So, I booted up the new wave, and this was here. I’d never played it on Tour, so was excited. The first half was honestly an amazing experience. I was having so much fun on the route that the fact it was an oval didn’t annoy me! Then I got to the top of the mountain, drove down, and thought: “Well that was disappointing.” Then I played 3DS Rainbow Road and felt true bliss.

The half-pipe in Tour was actually a "Super Half-pipe" that was pink and gave a much larger boost

Finally, the MK8DX ranking is on the horizon. Merry Mountain is definitely not the best out of the non city Tour Nitros, even though the theming is absolutely impeccable. Shout out to Yoshi’s Island for being an instant classic though. Also the halfpipe is for those double item sickos.
