Wonderful colors! I'm a color junky, and have hundreds of acrylic brush type paints (vallejo, citadel, etc.,) but I haven't found any part of the hobby that uses enamels or tamiya type acrylics since I paint fantasy war game armies and display miniatures. The range looks amazing and I'm really fascinated with those types of modeling paints and how they layer with metallics and transparent paints. My local hobby shop is the scale train, model cars and planes type of place, and stocks lots of gunpla. I wouldn't even know where to start with picking models or what they represent in the lore. It seems like they have like 5 options for the same guy from three different brands. It's a bit daunting.

Have you considered reviewing the neoco fan airbrush? It is a $30 Airbrush with two size fan cap tips. I've used it a lot this week for 2k clears.

This is some of the best advice I have gotten out of this channel! I use Leveling thinner for thinning paints, or their quicker drying thinner for metallics. But for all cleanout and color changes, etc, I use a big old can of lacquer thinner from a hardware store. I RIP through that stuff, and this one tip alone has probably saved me over 100 bucks already.

Beautiful colors there, although I have to admit, I had a slight tinge of disappointment after seeing them. I have been desperately looking forward to these and I was really hoping they might be a legitimate alternative to Alclad, SMS and AE metal colors. However, in terms of an actual appearance of "meta"l (as one might use for Gundam frames, boosters, etc) they just don't stack up. Especially the copper and brass over the black. ??? I am actually thinking Spalsh may have had a problem with the formulation on those because they are pretty odd for a metal copper and a metal brass and (IMO) are a long way off from the "real metal" look from other alternatives already available. They will be great for the rare car build though so I'll still be buying them ASAP.. Great vid as always....

you can just like robert did! for best durability over primer is best but make sure the gloss black is fully cured prior to laying them on. do not use enamel based. 2K or lacquer only
