Thanks mate. I think the 75mm in particular is interesting since Olympus only has 75mm f1.8 so this is possibly an interesting alternative for the same focal length and also being a few stops faster! Yeah the comment… as you can see, I didn’t bother replying after

@@Red35Photography, I’m debating between the Laowa 18mm f/0.95 and the 16mm Sirui. What are your thoughts? The Laowa seems to be sharper, wide open, even at f/0.95, which is my main concern.

Hi Jimmy, once again an interesting and entertaining video on the Sirui lenses! One question: do they "communicate" with the camera?

Yeah they are fun. And no, they don't have contacts so you will have to set the IBIS and focal length yourself, but it's quite easy with both OM an Lumix cameras.

Are this lenses covering APS-C image circle or m43 image circle? Are they native m43 or APS-C/S35?

How would you compare the Sirui 16mm to the Mitakon Zhongyi 17mm T1?

Sirui is sharper wide open and generally more solid performer than Mitakon. I found their T1 series good for vintage looking projects than more modern documentary filming.

Cine lenses are always manual focus.

Almost all cinelenses are manual focus to use with focusing module. If you need autofocus you need to mount another device for this type of lenses

@@Red35Photography I wish you mentioned that. Shallow depth of field on manualn lenses is almost useless since you have to modify manually the focused of any moving subject and what looks good on a small camera screen is terrible on a real screen. When reviewing manual lenses it is very important to note it since it will not fit to 80% or even more of the mature photographers.

@@ezrakoper Huh? Where are all of these autofocus cine lenses that you're talking about? I have never seen a single cine lens in my life that is AF, except for the brand new one about to be released in China.
