That is exactly the part in Plato's Republic about upbringing and laws and needs in the soul of the child. Everything is consequence of upbringing -- excellence.

What would you label your ideology as?
@thewarriorphilosopher
@thewarriorphilosopher Ай бұрын
Probably Imperialist, Militarist and Futurist. My biggest influence would be Nietzsche. I’ve been using the term Roman Futurism to describe an Imperial Futurist position. I believe the State must be lead by a Military Caste and should always seek outward Expansion and Evolution.

Mercy is not weakness.

a time for everything, in most places in the world, mercy has spoiled them.

@ninertactics Mercy isn't peace, it's the restraint of unnecessary action. Those who are merciless are often cowards using violence and otherwise destructive action as a cover for their own failings.
@laurean5998
@laurean5998 Ай бұрын
@@raiiar4733I think it depends on what you think mercy is. I would say mercy is giving someone a less punishment than his actions made him deserve. So whether for example not committing a warcrime by shooting someone surrendering even is mercy depends on your judgment of that enemy. If you believe he has a right to live, not killing him is basic human decency, if you believe he doesn’t, you have actual mercy by letting them live. This way, mercy can be seen as weakness. Especially if said mercy is not a result of your conscience or beliefs, but your fear of punishment if you were to do what you believe to be right. The bigger question I see here is if your conscience is a steady moral compass you should follow, because only this way a human can be moral, or if you see it as malleable, which makes it a weakness which can be used to manipulate you.
@raiiar4733
@raiiar4733 Ай бұрын
@laurean5998 You can give mercy in the form of lessening a punishment, yes, but the way you may apply what mercy is isn't the same as defining what mercy is. Mercy is giving the opportunity to another person to receive compassion or forgiveness from you, as the person who has the ability to punish them. Mercy isn't something you give infinitely. We as humans are not infinitely above other people, and so we cannot give infinite opportunities to others, but if you've listened to the podcast, they don't like the concept of mercy as is displayed through things like Christianity and lean into the concept of being merciless and ruthless. Part of being a man is defined by your ability to give someone the chance to do better, and in doing so, making yourself vulnerable to them taking that opportunity to possibly harm you in some way instead.

War is for weak men who can't compete. Competition is what truly elevates spirit. War is for people who are indignant and hate the reality.

War is a motivator yes, but there is better motivators that develop our spirit that doesn't contain killing innocent people and destroying that which has has been build by great men.

How do you plan to start "the new boyscots"?
@thewarriorphilosopher
@thewarriorphilosopher 2 ай бұрын
It starts with youth programs in a series of gyms, free martial arts and military arts training and eventually building a larger scale youth movement with actual accredited academies.

People like Wisdom Warriors thinks "conquering" makes "aristocracy", yet, in aristocratic times there were no wars at all. This is the time of colonization in Greece, and the product of that age were noble morals i.e. virtues which did raise fertility... You can't colonize without a surplus of virtues. What was the ancient tragedy about refugees from Egypt? They were even from another race, but the Greeks didn't abandon them, because they were related in ancient times. Here I see nobility... If you insist on "overcoming resistance" = conquering, then you might fall into shitty imperialism and everybody who has money will seduce you into stupid wars. Or even civil war.

These people are into losing braincells. The amount of times they have to repeat war just tells me that they glorify it. War doesnt uplift human spirit, it downgrades it. Just look at ukraine. Competition is what they should be talking about

What do you think of the facist leaders of ww2? A-H Mussolini. Franco
@thewarriorphilosopher
@thewarriorphilosopher 2 ай бұрын
I prefer Jünger and Spengler to the National Socialists (NS were too Volkisch as opposed to Pan-European and too Populist compared to Aristocratic as Evola points out) Balbo, D’Annunzio and Marinetti over Mussolini (before he caved to German demands he was quite good though) Primo Rivera over Franco (Rivera and the true Falangists were the real ideologues whereas Franco was more so just seeking power but I still like him overall)
