As a part-gifted collab, I recently popped up to Milltek’s HQ, in Derby, to install their backbox onto my gt4!!

Just to clarify the confusion with the Cargraphic valve controller & Milltek exhaust. The controller has 2 modes: Stock or forcing the valves open. My car with the controller, is still the same as it was before the Milltek The controller lets me decide if I want the valves permanently open or not, bypassing the car’s decision for me (since the console valve button doesn’t actually open valves until it’s over 4k revs). The Milltek is a physical component that restricts or increases sound volume. 2 separate things, made by different companies. Think of the controller as software that dictates the valves behaviour and I use the remote to turn that software on or off 🤘🏼

I am just about to install another Akra carbon diffuser to a clients car, far more aggressive styling. Worth a look 👌 sounds great though, nice to see Milltek added another Porsche system, previously I have only installed Akra systems.

Nice video, just wondering if you did any Dyno comparison, heard some exhaust causing lost in hp/torque and also did you have to make any ECU changes?

Thanks! No, didn’t dyno and didn’t touch the ECU. It’s only a back box. The car feels exactly the same hp/torque wise too

Is the Milltek legal in UK and Germany? (Without the valve controller)

I’ve retained my OPF’s & Cats, so I’ll pass an MOT. Therefore legal in the U.K. Can’t comment on Germany - but should in theory be fine as this is only a backbox

Hi Peter, as stated in the video description, this was a collaboration with Milltek so I didn’t pay the full list price. But it would be around £2500 depending on which tips you go for. Best to check their website

Good video, I personally just hate the idea of a separate remote control to play about with valves etc. A great sounding exhaust with no drone is enough for me

@@MrHCars sorry, came off a lot wrong....but not going to post-edit ;) Great set-up with the exhaust upgrade - sounds spot on! I went for a simmilar setup in my 911TT (no muffler or resonators though) I just want to hear the engine. All the best. P.S. a version of my car set the lap record ;)

@@seamusmcfitz913 Porsche warranty is worth its weight in gold. Why would u risk voiding it? Unless you can afford to replace an engine(btw a new Engine plus fitting from Porsche on a 991 GT3 is £47k) gearbox/diff then crack on a modify it. If you have Porsche warranty and break down on a trackday they don’t care. Tell me what other car manufacture has warranty like that!

As ever mate you know I love the car and did laugh when they started it with the valves closed and I think you responded with a technical term which ultimately confirmed it was louder than you thought it would be😱.
