New MINI Cooper - How to build the 1/24 Fujimi Model kit

Hello and welcome back to BOAB Models. Today we will be building the 'New' MINI Cooper in 1/24 by Fujimi - this kit was purchased as a bronze tier Mystery box from Kent Models and those chosen body colour was also at random!
The Mini concept was originally unveiled at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September 1997, whilst the Mini marque was still a part of the Rover Group, owned by BMW, where it was intended to replace both the classic Mini and the larger Metro/100-series. The Mini Hatch was the first model launched by BMW under the new MINI marque that was created following BMW's divestment of the Rover Group in 2000, and the classic Mini's discontinuation that same year.

A brown Mini is quite a bit unusual, but you made the best of it! I like this body shape better than the newer ones, and you did another great job on this build.

They made the original mini up until 2002! There is an 02 reg near me. They overlapped for 6 months the old and new mini!

Thanks a lot Tony. I do have a growing collection. I use an IKEA kitchen cabinet with a glass door and glass shelves but I do sometimes have to put some into long term storage.
