New mini pcp digital gauges (review/ test)

Hi guys got a video here today on some new digital gauges, we give them a little overview and test them against a known good gauge.

The only issue I have as regards ANY built in rechargeable battery is recharging in the field. Yes you take your charging lead with you and a USB power pack IF you remember them. I always have button cells in my gun bags for my illuminated optical devices so changing them isn't a problem. Sods Law says I would forget charging lead and powerpack.

At the moment with my old digital gauge because my gauge is right way up and I have the side bracket for my gauge on my M3 I need to D gas the rifle and twist or remove the gauge to replace the battery. I think I will definitely be upgrading to this gauge👍🏼 Great and informative video as usual 👍🏼

A neat little gauge that - and I agree....just reading pressure is all you realy need. its a shame its not micro or usb c, however I really like the magnets "repelling" as you can't put the adapter in the wrong way. Just got to decide how many to buy....I got up to four, slapped myself and settled on two 🙂

guage one is supposed to read 230 but shows 229.2 which means it is off by 0.8, the 2nd one is 1.2 out, the analog is spot on and the last one is 1.0 out.

If you look closely you can see the analog gauge is over by a couple of bar, but they are all within a couple of bar and that's good enough imo

They look quite slick on something like the FX you have there, not sure about them on a a rifle with a more traditional gunstock though.

Hi I have a question I have a bsa r12 clx pro and I’ve fitted a best fitting 500cc carbon bottle when I top up with my 3ltr carbon charging bottle it won’t go above 210bar so I assume the meter may be out would one of these digital meters fit my r12…..many thanks.

sorry i haven't tried the 25mm gauge, i have replaced the BSA gauge with a standard 28mm wiki on my R12 that works well, you just can't use the little cover but it doesn't look bad i can't see any reason the 25mm digi wouldn't work though👍 sorry i can't be more help

Wish I had the same experience with my gauge. Was reading 20 bar lower than other gauges and failed after one day. Air was blowing out threw the charging port. Waste of money.

Yeah I bought mine off the back of your youtube video. It looks and feels well made and I was hoping it was as good as you said. Unfortunately not in my case. Hope others have better luck than I did. Love the videos by the way. Some good info in them.

I’ve just bought one of these to put on the regulator of my Leshiy 2. The Sekhmet one I had previously was a lot quicker to change when the rifle was fired where as this one doesn’t alter even when fired quickly?

we have 2 of these and they both work perfectly, it's not to tight and the o ring is restricting the air flow ?

@@sub12airgunners the reg pressure is correct what it’s showing, but just doesn’t go down and then jump back up again when the rifle is fired. I’ve got the REPR reg which is faster to recover compared to the Huma raptor reg. It’s only just pinched up so don’t think it’s too tight.

Nice. If I change to a 300 bar bottle and a 300 bar gauge do I have to anything else to gun. Dies the warning on the gun for 250 bar max just for the original gauges as supplied from fx. Thank guys

M3, Maverick, Panthera are all 300bar guns as far as i am aware just the bottle and gauge that need replacing
