Super impressed with how much work you've put into these Faezoan stat sheets (perhaps Faepholios is a fitting name 🤓), but I can't help but think the Shield stat should be named Ward, since it's defense against magic it just sounds more fitting to me 🤷‍♂️ but either way very cool concept, feels like Pokemon meets DnD 😎

Thank you so much! And I definitely thought about naming the shield stat ward but something about it just didnt feel right to me. Everything is a work in progress at this point so maybe I'll feel better about it later or find a better name 😅 and yes very much been taking inspiration from dnd when thinking about the stats and battle mechanics will work. A video on that coming up later lol

I don't have a lot to comment about the video, thank you for sharing how you format your dex layout! New Kaida Lore! Our Monk a while ago kinda messed up a little...she was part of the guards despite being best friends/practically sisters with a Pirate, and after responding to someone asking for help only to find it was a deranged noble who was trying to swear bloody vengeance on people for not coming to his birthday she kinda cold blooded murdered him...she was having a very stressful day at the time...turns out though somebody saw her and that noble was part of a very powerful house in our hometown so just recently her crimes caught up with her...The Imperio family paid off the Guard not to arrest her but allow them to deal with the punishment, however the guards have also stripped her of her badge and fired her...Now the Monk owes the Imperio house a lot of money and has to submit to regular sessions of humiliation. Kaida is not standing for this obviously...She wanted to have a friendly Wizard NPC use the spell Modify Memory make people forget about the Monk's crime but the news has spread too fast and modify memory only works on one person at a time. New PLAN! Kaida has a Ghost Pirate ride in town, she found a derelict Ship on one of her adventures a while ago, patched it up, and hired a crew of Ghost Pokemon to man it and put on shows for pokemon who are interested in Pirates. Wizard friend uses modify memory on members of the Imperio family exclusively to implant the idea that they want to try out the pirate ride at least once, even if it's just to heckle it. Once they are onboard we spring the trap and hold them hostage! Anybody else on the ride at the time are also technically hostages with benefits; They are getting for no extra charge the genuine shanghaied by Pirates Experience, but will be treated well during their stay and offer them opportunities to join the crew. So long as we have civilians present onboard the Guards can't attack us so that leaves House Imperio on their own! Problem is Kaida only has 3 ships: her main ship, the restored ship, and a ship she recently rescued from being in a magic bottle. I want to split our hostages up between ships so they can't coordinate together and if the enemy plans anything funny they can't easily get all the hostages at the same time. Also if Kaida fails to intimidate she worries she could be overrun...so she is sending a letter to another Pirate crew to lend her aid! Recently she had stopped this crew from kidnapping the town's mayor by beating (cheating) their leader in a card game, cause this town belongs to The Empress! She figures by offering them a partnership in a new kidnapping ransom that they could get a bigger score together holding a bunch of Nobles instead of a Mayor, and this way they have a lot more ships and a lot more fire power Only one hanging thread left is our party's own Fighter...he's a mercenary so he's not loyal to the party, he's only loyal to contracts so Kaida basically has to keep paying his fee to get him to do adventures with us, though He's kinda a tsundere. He will never admit he likes us, we are just his most frequent employer but he also keeps hanging out with us outside of jobs. I am just gonna have to pay him to just not get involved, I can always count that if he has a contract he won't break it and I am terrified that if I forget to hire him House Imperio will take advantage of this and then I don't think I could stop him. This guy has got Archfey and Archdevils signing contracts for HIM! Why not hire him to join in then? I want House Imperio to not consider him an enemy so we can pull a Trojan Horse later. Kaida's demands are simple: Ransom money for the kidnapped nobles, the head of the noble house must arrive alone and unarmed, and The Monk's debts and crimes are hereby nullified and can't be used against her again. That's such a fun and interesting story! Don't apologize for the long comment, it's fun to read! Just might take me a while 😅 I love that Kaida is this badass pirate boss Queen that can just run the show like this, it's so inspiring! And I love the tsundere mercenary 😂 that's the best. I'm also curious about the rest of your party and what pokemon everyone is ^-^

I didn't bring this up earlier for simplicity but half the characters are Pokemon and the other half are actually Digimon...Digimon never interested me as a kid so I don't know a lot about it, only what I have picked up from this game :P Our Monk Jasmine is a Tinkermon (basically a Tinkerbell style fairy) who I guess can evolve into a Cute Polarbear (Digimon evolutions make no sense to me) Our Artificer Tal Greenie is a Green Ditto. Nobody knows why they are Green but we jokingly call them Jello And out Fighter Bishardramon was a Bisharp who was raised by Digimon so just as Kaida got her wish, he wished to be a Digimon and now is his own species.

@@Bysthedragon ohh that's so cool! I really like digimon but yes the evolutions are bananas lol that's so fun though! I have been thinking a digimon campaign would be really cool and you could like digivolve at certain levels with certain abilities. Someone has probably already thought of that, I just haven't looked it up. Also Tinkermon is so cute 💕

@@SivanasArtStudio We first Evolved at Lv 8 and will evolve again if we have an evolution at lv 16. Kaida doesn't get another evolution (unless between now and then Gamefreak comes out with a regional evolution of Salazzle but I don't think they will. Salazzle feels pretty complete as an evolution line) but the DM lets us take a Feat.

@@Bysthedragon that's so cool! I wish I had more friends in my area to play in person pokemon dnd with. So far it's just me and my partner, because all our other friends either don't care about pokemon or are too busy to commit to it. But that must mean yall are pretty high level huh? The highest I've gotten to is level 9 and that was after starting at level 5 lol

@@jh4490 I do like the sound of Feadex now that you say it. But my phone wants to auto-correct it to FedEx loll I'll keep working on it though. Zodex does also have a nice ring and it's shorter than Zoandex. Thank you for the ideas!!!
