Prob worth saving soley because it's a no sunroof 03+. I traveled far and wide to find a 2005 XLS with no Sunroof. (Puerto Rico)

Nothing beats the turbo diesel! Currently looking to replace it with a Touareg or Q7 TDI for more room and AWD.

Just pull the fenders, hood, and door off the black 2001 Montero and paint them silver. You can get factory matched paint.

That's definitely an option, although the fender from the 01 won't fit on 03-06 because the running boards and mud flap design is different. Though we could always get creative with a sawzall.
