So if the most dominant fighter or your favorite fighter ends up on a bad team and that team doesn't advance in the playoffs how does that get more people to watch. He's trying to compare real team sports to truly an individual sport, they all don't get in the cage at the same time...I don't understand how they don't realize it's been done in the past and failed with the IFL. If a fight league wants to be successful they must build young up and coming stars, most of their list is older fighters who are way past their prime. Good luck to them but I wouldn't invest in that.

I am very excited for a new league but I would love to see one that airs on KZbin or Netflix so everyone would have access. But also with younger and up and coming fighters that we can watch come up and make a name for themselves. Not so much the washed older fighters. I am still excited about this and don't want to be a hater but it feels like this model has been attempted in the past and hasn't worked. Fells like they will burn cash for 2 yrs and then they will be gone. Similar to what PFL has been doing, what World Series of fighting did before that, Affliction, etc.

@Induna123 it's a very odd decision to have the divisions at those weights to me, but the unified rules have divisions down to atomweight (105lb). Invicta and regional promotions in the usa have womens 105lb and some asian promotions have mens 105lb. With GFL's plan, every female fight will technically be a catchweight under unified rules.
