UPDATE: The haptic controls work fine when you have a wing tip attached. Since my ears are large, when I use no wing the top of the bud has no where to rest which is why it might not respond so well.

Nice work as usual thank you. I watched a video on the Drivers in the Momentum 4 and all of their earbuds. And Sennheiser custom makes their own drivers. That makes them very EQ friendly and very capable of a lot more than what we can get out of them with the limited five band EQ that they give us. Why do they do this nobody knows. If they gave us an EQ like Nothing does what a game changer that would be. So at the end of the video the guy used wavelet and he says it's much better than what Sennheiser gives you. Both are great. The stock tuning of the Ear is more balanced. Pro 2 more v shaped. I think you can EQ the Ear with freedom. So if I was to choose only one I’d go with the Ear. But it’s so close honestly for me

Really loving the Windy City mic test, one of the only real world city tests I have found, I rollerskate trough the city full speed everyday and that's the conditions I live on, based on your tests probably the Beats Studio Buds + are my best bet, tried the AirPods Pro 2 and mic didn't stand up in wind :/

I think they’re great for metal. Those or the Denon PerL Pro are my go to for intricate listening

Hi man, thank you for your review. This video is 4 months old now, but if you are reading comments, I need your help with these. My gym has crazy loud music. For now I'm using my IEMs but I have to get them dangerously loud. Is ANC in these capable of canceling gym music?

It will but only slightly. You’re better off going for a pair like the Bose QC Ultra they have the best ANC. Even then it will still let in some of that gym music

Just going off memory it’s pretty close. I’d rate the engine 4 around a 9 as well. You get better mids and sound stage on the engine 4. Crisper treble on the FE.

One of my main annoyances with the momentum 4s are accidental touches when repositioning the buds which even when you remove the one touch you still get the tone sound- I find it pretty annoying so the sports avoiding this feels like a plus for me

Don't get the momentum sport. The sensors are garbage, and the polar app is trash. The sound is good, but not great, yet they're changing great money. Definitely not worth it. Buy them at $200 and they're worth the money.
