Awesome upgrade! I own a pelican. I don’t have the gas motor yet; I went with the trolling motor upgrade first. I put a little platform (6 inch board of cedar) to put a mounting plate on and have a Terrova. Makes a huge difference have a foot pedal/remote/ and SPOTLOCK! You should do it!

It's not very fast. Maybe around 5-6 miles an hour, but it's got great range compared to a electric trolling motor.
