@inthewind7733 күн бұрын
Here's an idea: get that comfy ADV bike you haven't tried yet and just explore some of the backroads and sights in your home state. Show us that Ohio is more than just a flyover state. Touring doesn't have to be massive multi-day trips, it means jumping on your bike and exploring the unknown, even if it's only a few hours or a day's ride from home. It sounds like you're stuck in a rut, maybe you'll shake things up a bit in 2025?

CycleCruza, your journey has been incredible so far, and the fact that you’re reflecting on what’s next shows how much you care about your audience and the legacy you’re building. My advice? Don’t stress over what’s next-let the universe guide you. Sometimes, the best ideas come when we stop forcing them and let life unfold in its own time. Whether it’s sport bikes, island tours, or jet skiing, the right path will present itself when the time is right. Trust the process, and remember, it’s not about the destination but the ride. Just like with dating or any big decision in life, if it’s meant to be, it will be. Keep riding and inspiring!

Hey man, I've been watching your videos for quite a while now, I usually never comment on anyones vids but I really love your outgoing attitude in life. Your funny and I love watching your vids. I tell you, I've been riding Harley's for 24+ yrs from sporti😢es to tourers and everything in between. Lately all I was doing was looking at my bike, wasn't riding it anymore. "The thrill is gone", so I ended up selling it and after 6 mos. Bought me a brand new ADV. Suzuki 650 VStrom. Dude I f@kin' love this bike. Wish I've done it sooner but it's all good. Variety is the spice of life. Get yourself a midsize ADV , you'll thank me later. Have a good one cruza😎

Thanks for being a long time viewer. I appreciate you. Great to see you have been riding for so long. Yeah you have to mix it up with different bikes to keep it fun. I used to talk smack about ADV bikes mainly because of their weight but they are great bikes for cruising and the best for touring. They look cool too. If I get an ADV bike it would probably be a Yamaha Tenere 700 or something similar. I actually bought my KTM 690 SMC R as kind of an ADV bike but I need to sell it before KTM falls off. lol Have a Happy New Year!

Sheesh, do not listen to these people please. They never read Jeremiah chapter 10 or chapter 14 . God warns us about these false prophets in chapter 14 and about their holiday in chapter 10. Psalms 119 is an EVERLASTING COVENANT. I was raised a Christian but I kept searching for the truth. The " new" testimate can not exist with out the old testimate. But the old testimate and God warn about any "new" testimate or prophets not from God himself like Isaiah and Jeremiah. These people accept what gets them accepted. Truth.

@eldorado56863 күн бұрын
@ I have had one now for about a year. It is about 675 pounds. That being said, you could go with a competition Works exhaust and take 25 pounds off of it right away. The bike does not feel its weight. Once you get above 10 miles an hour or so it is very tossable. Tip in is so easy on turns. You will be astonished by how well it rides. I’m telling you, the torque on this bike is like nothing else you have ever experienced. Go take one for a test ride. I know u will be hooked! The new storm, is 180 hp and 167 foot pounds of torque. it’s an expensive bike, but it is worth every penny! My 2020 is 165 horse and 163 foot pounds of torque. I’ve been thinking about getting a tune that will bring it up to storm numbers. That being said, my 2020 is throttle restricted at 65% throttle. From the factory. I’m telling you bro, you have to give this bike a try. I know you said in the past that you didn’t like the way it looks because the tires are too big, but the tires are that big because it needs to keep the bike on the ground! Lol!

Maybe do a long term review of bikes you find interesting? For example, the R9 you can ride it for several months or however long and give us your thoughts about the bike. After you feel that you've done enough for the R9 and want to let it go, trade it for another bike thats interesting. Also, instead of track, you can maybe do some curvy road runs where you can go at your pace and pick a spot to ride through. I hope this will spark something in you, glad to have a brother in faith out there and stay safe!

What to suggest? I know you were talking about the TAT at one point in time. Maybe you take a year to gear up for that. Do a bike build, take some riding classes for the dirt, get some more skill and experience. Do a few moto camping trips to try out different gear to make life in the trail a little easier. You can sell the bike in Oregon, and cruise back to Cleveland in style on an HD. OK, I’m not very serious about that last line. 😂

Recommendation on what bike to look at for a 100 mile commute (round trip). It’s a mixture of interstate, back roads, and mountain twists in CA (depending on the route I decide to take).
@CycleCruza3 күн бұрын
There are a lot of different bikes you can do for that, depends on what level of comfort you want, how much power you wants, etc. Any of the Yamaha MT series bikes, ADV bikes for more comfort like the Yamaha Tenere 700, etc. Any of the naked bikes or sport bikes. One time I did 500 miles round trip on a cbr600rr down to OH 555 to West Virginia and back and had a blast back in 2013. For a commute, I bet the Yamaha Tenere 700 ADV bike would be cool for your commute. 👍

Just bought a 2024 standard Africa Twin. I’ve had a KTM 1290, Harley Davidson Sporster, Fatboy, Low Rider, Ultra Limited, Kawasaki Versys 1000, Yamaha Raider and test road the MT07 a few times. All of the one’s I’ve owned have been great bikes and have enjoyed them thoroughly. But I have to say that the Africa Twin is the best bike I’ve owned thus far. Not necessarily the best bike, as that is subjective, but for me it’s been the best bike I’ve had thus far. It’s really a great Unicorn bike. You can hit the highway, do local roads or hit some dirt & gravel roads, and it does everything really really well. Give it a shot, I don’t think you will be disappointed. Also, if you haven’t tried the 2024 you should, they gave it a bit more torque in the low to mid range and she really moves! Numbers on paper don’t match what I feel. And having come off a KTM 1290, I can tell you that my AT feels even more torquey down low than that. Again, you have to experience it to understand. Happy New Year!

No idea what your time and finances allow or how you feel about international travel, but whilst I've seen plenty of British and Irish riders taking in various parts of the States, I've not seen many Americans riding in the UK or Ireland or even western Europe. It's a big financial hit for sure. You'd probably be shocked at the contrast but our roads have a lot to offer. You could combine a trip with maybe looking at training and testing over here on this side of the Pond, even experience one of our many and varied enhanced/Advanced Riding courses. Heck you could probably do a track day on one of our iconic circuits if you really wanted to. You could ride up through the Scottish Highlands and islands (I see another viewer has already invited you) or visit some of our many and varied National Parks in both England and Wales - we have some very beautiful areas and great motorcycling roads running through them. Alternatively, or even additionally, some time in Ireland wouldn't disappoint either. You could take in just how different motorcycle culture can be by experiencing it in a new land - on vastly different roads but you'd soon adjust. You'll see man made structures and things that are centuries old, even many thousands of years old. You'll get rained on whatever time of year but our weather is pretty tame compared to North America's. Having ridden extensively in the USA many years ago, I know how many incredible experiences and memories it left me of things I could never have dreamed of seeing in my own homeland - perhaps you need to spread your wings a little too. No language barrier to worry about either if you stick to UK & Ireland although not sure how you'd best go about securing a bike, but I'm sure it can be done and presumably your licence would allow you to ride over here, although I'm not 100% sure on that point. I realize it's a big and intimidating prospect but I'm just throwing things out there. Then again, you live in such a huge country with so much to see - I understand your dislike of highway mile munching though and getting to a lot of those places is half the problem. Again, that's not really a big deal in the UK which is only about 600 miles top to bottom as the crow flies. Anyway, whatever you do or don't decide to do, just continue to enjoy your bikes and your riding.

Get an ADV, some models to look at are the Aprillia 660 (it really is a good bike), The BMW F900GS, Tiger 900, or really any midweight would be good for you. After that, sign up for one of the rallys like Wailin Wayne Weekend (beginning of Sept) and join the community like no other. You will learn a lot from other ADVers and get lots of good tips and tricks. ADV's are never noticed by cops and you get away with stuff on them that gets you tickets on other bikes.

Like the idea of island exploration in the Great Lakes. Also, although you don't want to "tour" on a bike, what if your "touring" was not on the highway, but taking the "long way round" and finding backroads and more twisty roads rather than the straight and boring highway. That way it will be more about enjoying the journey rather than just getting to the destination... and you wont need to spends hours on the bike, just do what feels good. Maybe even do moto camping.

Thank you for being a viewer! I appreciate it. Yeah the T7 is nice, if I get a ADV bike that is high up on the list for sure. Yamaha is the best! 👍

I know you don't like vintage bikes, but it would be fun for us to see the pure rawness of an old bike with no computers. Or you've mentioned before getting an old-ish bike and modding it, that would be cool as well. Really like the bug out boat idea too with exploring the islands. You were thinking about getting a jet ski when you almost bought that riverfront house. Maybe it's time to bring that idea back. And you loved that country house in Georgia it was just too far of a drive. We would love to see you get another country house, in Ohio this time. Maybe one where you can ride an adventure bike to and spend a night or two and then go right back to Cleveland. Also, you haven't done ATVs and SxS yet. Would love to see you do those knowing that Ohio would let you plate just about anything

Have you thought of writing a motorcycle story or screenplay, based on your experiences? The motorcycle industry could use a great motorcycle movie to boost sales.

The choice is simple. Get a Yamaha XMAX 300. The ultimate commuter, chill ride, 80 mpg, 90 top speed, and tons of space. You can even grocery shop in it. Super low maintenance cost and insurance, too.

The R9 is one of those new gen sport bike with more relaxed ergonomics. It would be interesting to see your take on it. The Tenere 700 would be cool as well.

I know you’re pretty done with the road trips, but do at least one trip to the Tail of the Dragon. Vlog the trip down, on the Dragon, then back. Maybe on one of the trips from Ohio to Ga. 🤷🏾♂️

Are we ever gonna see an old-man CycleCruza on an adventure bike, Honda Goldwing or Harley Davidson? 😂 Imagine if you went back to your video of motorcycles you'll never get and actually get one like you did with the supermoto.
@CycleCruza3 күн бұрын
Hey I ain't old yet man. lol When I get a Harley then you'll know. 🤣 As long as I'm still hooligan riding on my 450cc supermoto I'm still young 💪 I always get a new bike tho don't I? I guess you missed the 2024 KTM 690 SMC R I bought and did a build series on, modded the hell out it? I've gotten a new bike every year since 2012

The Midweight adventure bike trend is picking up speed. I think you should get that KOVE 450 rally, or IBEX 450MT! Or maybe just get back to the basics and pick you up a Suzuki DR650, and do some prepared citizens type stuff!

Maybe do like a go-cart build with a 2nd hand Superbike engine in it. Those are pretty epic and rip hard. Or something very different, Rc cars. I got into them and they super fun. The power those things have is crazy. They can also do wheelies.
@calvino53 күн бұрын
I would really like to see you make a new bugout van series 2 with a sprinter van or something similar.
@CycleCruza3 күн бұрын
Yeah I nearly bought a Ford transit 4WD with low miles for 40k a few months ago. But I already did a bug out moto van build and travel series in the past. So I thought I should do something new and different like traveling all around the country and renting motorcycles along the way and maybe getting a boat and touring islands or jet ski to islands, something fun and different for a change.
