Now, I sure am looking forward to seeing (and hearing) you on that Triumph 400 Kate..., I keep on hearing about it but: 1. It's not yet availble in the country where I live, not even to look at, and won't be till Spring '24, 2. There is nothing online, in a language that I understand enough of, to know exactly what it's all about, 3 and lastly I desparately wanna know it's price here in CHF.... I'm already planning next season's expenditure! Yes this is a serious contender for my downsizing project. (1 Road bike and 1 Green laner) Despite the 400cc, I reckon it'll still be a smooth but pokey little motor... it's gotta be, it's a Triumph, and to be a success, it's gotta do as much as the other "small bikes" can, and do, if not more.

Enjoyed the video, but no mention of the new E-Clutch. Personally I don’t think it looks good, although it may work ok, but the biggish block on the top of the engine doesn’t look great. Great review of the new bikes though.

Love the Duke 990, so much more premium looking that the 890, but is it worth the extra over a Street Triple RS? Such a shame the Hornet 1000 doesn't have the single sided swing arm of the current CB1000R, cheapens the visual to me.

Brilliant look into the bike show and I think you two compliment each other to a T. As others have side the knowledge of the bike from you kate spot on, and without it being a slog listening to stats. Just as a heads up, and not a negative, I think the microphones where too close to your talk boxes 😁 it made the sound a little off, but I notice towards the end it was a little quieter the sounds improved . great seeing the new bike range, sadly i missed MCL live this year but having the details in these vids has been brilliant. on a separate note, i have been with bikesure for several years and just phoned to remove one bike and add a new one to my multi policy, the service and quote were exceptional and this is every year. theres enough negativity but is there a way i can pass on some positivity about an excellent insurance company like Bikesure? keep up the growth and great vids, seems like only yesterday you were on teapot ones bru time with 3k subs 👏👏👏👏

Same here, been with Bikesure since i passed nearly 4 years ago, now on a multi (3) bike policy, changed bikes a few times and it's always been really easy, easy to get through and speak to an actual human, most times costing nothing to make a change, except the Gen 1 Hayabusa i got in my second year, that was £117 to add, bought a hardtail custom chopper last year which i thought would be a nightmare to insure but the woman just asked me to describe it over the phone, i've just swapped the chopper for a KTM Supermoto, again easy changed.

Sorry to have to disagree with you about those Triumphs, when you look past the paint, which is of a good standard, you will notice that it's been made to a price. I understand they sell in India for just over 2 grand so they've obviously been made down to a price point. Looking closely at the Himalayan you will soon notice its much higher quality, something i wouldn't have thought possible a few years back.

Lack of IMU (standard OR optional) on Hornet range is disappointing. The CBR600RR gets IMU as standard... as does the latest naked litre bike from Suzuki.....the GSX-S1000. Honda say they put red badges on their prime range bikes ....I wonder if this means absence of a red badge means "sub-prime".

I am interested to see how the new Honda Hornet 1000 will compare to the Suzuki, because I know it cannot compete with the Yamaha MT10 or anyone of the European bikes like KTM, Triumph or BMW.

Lovely job ladies. I have an 18plate SDR and am guessing the existing evo bikes with the 1290 engine will be getting sold off cheaply very soon if not already as the 1350 engine comes out soon. Of all the bikes you examined I would pick the retro Yamaha 900. You 2 could be a double act like Ant and Dec except talking about interesting stuff instead of wannabe, hasbeen 'celebs' whatever that means

You Brits put up with a lot of wet riding, but it must be nice to have bike shows in the fall. In Canada the shows are all in January and February since most normal people are scared of black ice and don't ride between December and April lol.
