Not yet. I cancelled the order because I went through a case binge this past week. Ordering the limitless, nomad, Burkley and I went to Best Buy and tried the symmetry as well as the tech 21 evo check. Hi Alexandre. The Carbon Fiber (Aramid Fiber, actually) is a very attractive case and it has a pleasant feel to it, but the amount of grip is not that impressive. I would say maybe a 3? But the leather version of the Limitless 3.0 has a lot more grip--maybe a 6...Love that case.

I think it is pretty scratch resistant. I haven't noticed any issues with scratching. Greasy fingerprints do show up pretty easily, but they are equally easy to rub off...

Hi Maddude! I guess a some key questions here are: whether you want a clear case * whether you want to magnetically mount things * how durable and drop protective you want your case to be * whether customization is important to you. The two cases are really different. Overall, I'd say that the Mous Limitless 3.0 is going to be a tougher, more impact protective case that is going to wear better over time. Obviously you have the magnetic mounting capability here, and no such ability with the Casetify Ultra Impact case. But if you want to customize the case, or show off your phone a bit more with a clear case, then perhaps the Casetify Ultra Impact case is for you. Finally, if the clear case aspect is the most important here (and not the customization), then you might want to consider the crystal clear Mous Clarity. I haven't reviewed it for the iPhone 11 or 11 Pro yet, but I was exceedingly impressed with it for the iPhone XR and Xs Max. Good luck with your decision, and thanks for watching!

How does the leather vs airmid fiber compare on being able to slide it out of your pocket? You say the leather is a lot more grippy, will it still slide out of a jean pocket pretty easily?

Hi @Tato223. Part of that is going to have to do with how tight your pockets are, but in my experience, it is still going to slide out easily--maybe with a little bit more friction than the Aramid Fibre version, but still quite smoothly. It's a great case 😀

It worked well for the Limitless 2.0, but I know that the version for Limitless 3.0 is different. Hopefully Mous will send me out the wallet accessory for the iPhone 12 Limitless 3.0 cases...

Wow, tough call. So, I haven't reviewed anything in the OtterBox Universe system for several years, and my impressions are no doubt out of date. When I reviewed it, it seemed like it was a bit on the bulky side, and the Mous Limitless 3.0 system is much sleeker. And removing the wallet from the Mous case is going to be much easier and more convenient than removing a wallet attachment from a Universe case (at least in the ones I reviewed in the past). However, the downside of that is that the Mous wallet has the possibility to get knocked off accidentally (because it is attached magnetically), and that is never going to happen with the Universe wallet, which slides on firmly. So...really depends upon your lifestyle, I guess. Hope this helps!

Just how slippery is the aramid fiber one? That may be a very difficult question to answer. I’ve been using the Speck Stay Clear case for iPhone 11, and it’s too slippery. I like the fact that the leather one has grip, but the look of the aramid fiber is just so much better! Trying to get an idea before I bite the bullet on the Limitless 3.0.

Hi Jonathan! So, the Aramid Fiber Limitless 3.0 is not nearly as slippery as the Speck Stay Clear. The Stay Clear is a super slippery case--way too slippery for me to use. The Aramid Fiber Limitless 3.0 is only a little slippery in comparison. However, it has noticeably less grip than the Leather Limitless 3.0, and I would therefore choose the Leather over the Aramid Fiber every time. Hope this helps!

Several people with the contour leather both classic and colors edition have reported this - and the leather is peeling away bad! I was going to go with the Limitless 3.0 leather, but having seen all of those reports about the leather, I don’t want to risk it.

I heard that somewhere as well--but honestly, I think the cases involved must have had a production defect. I have quite a number of Limitless 3.0 and Contour cases and I have had zero issues with them. Admittedly, as a reviewer, I switch cases quite often and am not a great source of long term use data as a result, but I have used the Mous Limitless 3.0 and Contour cases much more than most cases in my possession because I like them so much. Plus, I've heard that Mous is very good about standing behind their products. That much said, they did make a definite change in their leather cases this year (the Limitless 2.0 cases had an entirely different feel), and the Aramid Fiber cases didn't seem to change that much. So maybe the Aramid Fiber cases are a bit more 'tried and true' :) Good luck with your decision!!

Also wondering which back material, you feel would be the most durable on each style case. Having a hard time deciding between cases and back material. Hi David! Thanks for your kind words:) First off, I love both cases. Big fan. According to Mous, the Limitless 3.0 is the most protective and durable of their cases. However, I have a definite personal preference for the Contour case because it feels extremely good in the hand. The slightly curved back fits beautifully in the palm. The Limitless 3 feels nice as well, but just not as good. Material wise, I think the leather is the best because it is pleasingly grippy. The aramid fiber is not as grippy, and the wood (based on past years) is quite slippery. The leather will be very good in not showing fingerprints, but it may not be as durable as the aramid fiber as far as scratching is concerned. It could be that the Aramid Fiber Limitless 3.0 is the best choice for you, although it wouldn’t be my own best choice.

Hi Juan! The sides of the Limitless 3.0 and the Contour seem to be basically the same to me (definitely more grippy than on last year's Limitless 2.0, however). The buttons on the Contour are just as good as those on the Limitless 3.0 as well. I think the real determining factor in grippiness between the two cases is the back material. The wood cases are the most slippery, in my opinion. The aramid fiber is slightly less slippery than the wood. And the leather is the grippiest of the Limitless 3.0 finishes. For the Contour, all the back panels are leather, but the Contour Colours Edition are made of a protected leather which is more durable and grippy than the slightly fancier feeling leather on the classic Contour edition. Hope this helps!

Which OtterBox model? OtterBox, like Mous, doesn't publish any drop height data for their cases, but the toughest OtterBox model, the Defender, is generally considered to be a very tough case. Similarly, the Mous Limitless 3.0 is considered to offer extreme drop protection. How they would compare in a head to head comparison in terms of protective ability, I don't know, but I can tell you that the Limitless 3.0 is much slimmer and more beautiful and generally more pleasant to use as compared with the OtterBox Defender...

Hi! It has a little curve to it when it is not on the phone, but once you put it on, it straightens out completely. I noticed this with the white and black leather versions, but not with the aramid fiber...

@@TheTechReviewer OK i say this because i noticed this curve or bend which made me thinking about the previous case (Legion case) for my Pixel 3 that i had to send back to the reseller as even my smartphone in it this curve was still there as it was the polycarbonate hard shell which was bent and not the internal TPU and now i've got a Spigen Tough Armor and absolutely no bend at all... It bothered me not for a protective question but above all for aesthetics reasons...

I totally see the bend you are talking about when the case is not on the phone, but once you put it on the phone, it completely disappears...

Hi Gilbert. My understanding is that the leather is similar to the kind used on leather athletic shoes. It is designed to be tougher and grippier than the more traditional smooth leather you often find on phone cases. Personally I prefer it, as I find smooth leather phone cases to be unacceptably slippery, but everyone has their own preferences...

Don't buy this. I so regret it. It's bulky, it's slippery and the magnets do not hold the weight of the phone. It feels sharp around the port openings at the bottom if you hold with one hand.

Hi Adam! So sorry that the Limitless 3.0 case didn't work out for you. Which back finish did you buy? I find the leather to be the most grippy of the options for the Limitless 3.0. Also, what are you trying to attach the case magnetically to? The Limitless 3.0 is only designed to work with Mous's suite of magnetic accessories...
