Whom Gods Destroy and Caligula's Horse. Amazing bands. Going to see Steve Hackett live in a couple of months. Some good new stuff coming out this year. Love it!

Thanks for giving a sound clip for these bands. I ordered 3 of 4 of your suggestions before your show was over!😂 Seeing Hackett in Tucson in April. Hope he plays the song you played.

BBT usual top drawer level. Caligula's Horse, best in a while.... very Sound Awake era Karnivool. Sweet stuff. Great video guys 🙂😎 love and respect from the UK 🤘

This is a good idea because there are so many great bands and still sometimes its hard to find something new and different. Hopefully it includes really proggy stuff along with awesome instrumentalists like Owane and Plini and some interesting straightforward rock bands with prog elements like Big Wreck and Lonely Robot!!

Maybe not all on this one episode, but we cover all those bands.

Dino is on fire here, as well on his brand-new solo album Jelusick Follow the Blind Man. I am not a fan of bumblefoots solo part on the fretless, it is just a sound I don't prefer. The sliding into notes just not my thing. That said I do love the song and will be seeing these guys live for sure and buying the album. I would like Derek to play some major chord tunes but he seems to never. Always kind of a dissonant sound he goes for all the time. At least the chorus is melodic somewhat. I found the same kind of sounds with a lot of the Sons of Appolo stuff. So I seem like am complaining a lot, no I am just nit picking as I have very specific tastes. I do really enjoy the song.

1st track is awesome but don’t dig the vocals (hopefully will grow on me). 2nd track is sounding epic and will defo check this band out. 3rd track - does nothing for me just a bit bland for me but track does have some cool parts. 4th track - need time to give this band a proper listen as this track sounds awesome but a few others I heard I didn’t take to. Cool series look forward to the coming months 🤘🏻

In The Name of War sounds more like metal than Prog.
