What I really like about the Qashqai is the way they've evolved the design -- it now looks very smart and modern, and is a 'Goldilocks' design - not too big but not too small..... great review as usual.

Thank you Ambien, spot on with the Goldilocks reference - and yes the way they’ve evolved it without compromising the design.

I really like to love epower qashqai as it is basically an ev that doesn't need charging. But it won't let me turn on the aircon remotely from the app as I could in my MG3 hybrid plus.

Sadly, that seems to be the case, @myothurazaw. Hopefully Nissan will amend this when they update the Qashqai. Thank you.

Hi guys, this drive train is very similar to my Honda HRV, but it does not seem to roar as much under hard acceleration as the Honda. Beautiful car, well appointed, suits the red and black roof (my favour colour combo too), could well be a contender for my next car? However, with 5 year warranty and 5 years servicing included with the Honda it could be a while 😂 economy seems on a par with the Honda HRV too, I am currently averaging just over 60 mpg. The quality of the build in the Nissan is superb and the styling is top notch too. Great review as always guys👍😎

Thank you George, yes it is, I reckon moving forward most manufacturers will develop sometime of HEV or adopt / share tech etc. Amazing motor the HR V, for so many reasons.

@planetautouk great review , i have just ordered e power tekna in ocean deep with black roof. My current vehicle is a vw tiguan r line , it was a toss up between this and the new tiguan. As you can guess the tiguans mpg was no where near this, and as I do a lot of miles going back and forward to work now , this has become a factor for me when looking at a new car. I also have all the bells and whistles in my current car and nissan was the only manufacturer out there that could give me all this within my price range. So along with the mpg and after the test drive I was sold. Let's hope the e brake , e power and reliability live up to expectations. 😊

I haven’t driven a new one of these. However I test drove one of these back to back with a Tucson in2016. The ride was horrific,jiggling an understatement. They were 15k then now 30-40k. And a good buy?I guess I am losing touch with reality? Out my league financially and I am glad that I can’t afford that much for a car because even if I could they just aren’t worth it. And all the tech, since when did we need this. My friend had projector adaptive headlights on his bmw x3. One night some gobs trashed his headlights. Replacement 1200 each plus fitting plus recoding. Buy one and out of warranty god help anyone with repairs. A fantastic review bit its purpose is a run of the mill family tool. A lot of these cars will be scrapped years before their predecessors. Is there anyone who can fix this amount of tech?
@PlanetautoUK2 ай бұрын
The price hikes we’ve seen in automotive in this country over the last 10 years is absolute insanity and It’s a bit like smartphones, a ridiculously small percentage will use all the tech Lidar, 3 D mapping, Tracking etc but each year another one comes out with more tech with a higher price. However especially like Qashqai they sell like hot cakes - the challenge with automotive is the tech is needed 8/10 for a decent NCAP. The Bavarian point you make is similar to people can opening Porsche lights. As for prices they’re in alignment with the competition and you can pay way more for an SUV of this size, crazy old world Volt and thank you glad you enjoyed it.
