The biggest differences with the old model is: more accurate scale, nicer pantographs, but most importantly: the undercarriage is finally correct. Before it was a simple SNCF repaint.

Simply find pictures of the real 1601 and see that the wapon of the city is NOT at the places it should be. A simple investigation by Fleischmann would have prevented this obvious mistake.
