Does the extra damage to energy weapons only apply with polished? Because my normal and energy weapons both have same damage increase with just instigating

Does the damage increasing because the energy weapon has equipped but not because the (any) weapon has the Polished (4star) mod which will be inherited by a grenade (like it does with the 1st star)? I don't see any connections between energy weapons and grenades.

@LouiseFranz-wq3jf it's because of the 4th star the damage will get busted and I tried this trick with non energy weapons the damage would go up by half but with energy weapons the damage go up higher, so with energy gun th3 damage is higher

@@smashysnow there is a current glitch when using that specific 4 star legendary effect, that if the weapon has full 200% durability then for some reason the gun does not actually get the 60% damage buff, so for now you have to have the gun with like 180% durability for the effect to actually give the weapon the 60% buff.

What perks are you using to get damage so high? Even when you unequipped your weapon, your grenade damage was much higher than mine

How are you getting damage that high? I have the same gun, alien blaster with INST/EXP/INT/POLISHED and grenadier + demolition expert + tenderizer + bloody mess maxed and the best I get is 700 base damage.

InstigFFR/EX15rPolish on a gauss rifle would seem like it'd work since it's energy and has mod options for AP. not sure if the damage is split between ballistic and energy but if it works, we could probably see higher damage numbers. AFAIK the grenade damage isn't tied to weapon damage but the grenade damage is boosted by whatever stats/legendary rolls are on the weapon. this is how you're able to proc stun on enemies using something like a VATs crit mini nuke and swapping to Circuit Breaker at 0 ammo before the mini nuke makes contact with the enemy.

you need an energy weapon with energy damage only on it, alien blaster works fine and you need to pit 4th star polished on it and your damage should be high like main and pit 1st star instigating the damage will be double for example if your damage is 1k you will do 2k damage when you shoot it

Explosive bobbles help, so does increasing the explosion radius.
