Awesome and welcome! I gotta say I reach for this palette a lot because it’s got such great everyday neutral mattes and that creamy white in it and the other colors just add a little more drama when I’m in the mood. It’s a pretty solid formula to work with overall! @dr.claire.perfume

I’ve used it for awhile now and so far no issues thankfully! I did notice I think it was one of the purples left a magenta stain after I swatched it and then went to remove it with a wipe but it came off after a couple more wipes 😊

I just picked up this pallet for £10 so very happy. Love the final look but you caught me well off guard when you said you were 48 I thought had to have heard that wrong no way you look 48.

actually those eyeshadows can be put on the eyes !! its just that for legal protection reasons, brands say their pressed pigments are not suitable just in case they stain eyelids or people get allergic reactions, but you can totally put them on your eyes !! i do it all the time and im still alive lol

lol!🤣 I survived as well! phew! I figured it was something like that and it's interesting that you mentioned the staining because I did notice one of the colors did leave a stain on one of my fingers when I was swatching and then cleaning up..can't remember which one though.

@@redgirlreviewsYep, it’s usually because of staining. Brands have used loopholes of calling them pressed pigments when using dyes that aren’t approved for use around the eyes in eyeshadows and the just putting a tiny disclaimer near those shades saying “not approved for use around the eyes.” But, they changed the laws now, at least for red dyes, which just took effect. So now with red dyes, they can ONLY use ones approved by FDA, which is Carmine. So brands that are vegan are going to have an issue now. They can no longer call them pressed pigments but then SHOW them being used on the eyes. So if they send the product to influencers and the influencers use them on the eyes, it’s false advertising. So some brands are going to need to decide if they want to use Carmine and not be vegan because of it, or go through the process of getting new red dye ingredients approved by FDA, which is costly and time consuming. So it’ll be interesting to see!

So interesting! Thank you so much for sharing as I genuinely was wondering why this was suddenly happening so frequently with new palettes...totally makes sense. Hopefully there are some makeup chemists hard at work trying to find a vegan red option besides Carmine...I can confirm that some of those shades did stain my fingers when I used them so that explains why.@@onewhisper22005

Blue Man Group show? Coat your whole face except for your eyelids? But seriously I think there are some pigments that are approved in Europe but not yet in the US so brands make these statements to cover their a** (maybe with blue pigment on the “cheeks” 😂)
