Hi Marshall, you made a fine job of that repair, your right, if you can get the jaw of the vice a little closer it wil help witht he squeel you could also hang a wet rag on the other end of the material being cut, helps dampin the vibrations. has the burger got haggis in it? could eat that right now many thanks Barry

Did attack it with angle grinder where necessary after this vid stops. I cut 1,1/4" x 5mm washers off the end of a steel bar with it and they came out pretty true. You see them in the phone vid I sent you. M 😀
