I love watching you show the items and describe them. You can see your passion for these items. What a great way to enjoy them but not have them take up space in your home. 💜

That Barro Negro pottery piece is a water pitcher. In Mexican houses is used to keep water super fresh and tasty. I promise!! In fact, in México is also an expensive craftsmanship and every year are competitions for the Best piece of pottery in Oaxaca

I just bought the 2 blue bowls. I saw them yesterday and was okay with not buying them. This video pushed me over the edge. I collect cobalt blue pieces and they look so beautiful. I can't wait to have them in my hands! And yes, I love seeing your street finds! Thanks so much, Sophia.

I guess I am one of those weird people... I collect bells and have my collection stored in my great-grandmother's antique display cabinet. I am 62 and she brought it with her in a wagon from Illinois when they moved to Texas right after they were married in 1898, so I am positive it is an antique. It sat behind her small armless rocker and I loved sitting on the little stool at her feet and looking at her pretties in the cabinet. She had a bell in the cabinet and it was the first bell that started my collection. My bells are random pieces that were gifts or antiques and I love them all. Some are crystal with a beautiful sound, and I even have the bells that hung on the door of my grandmother's children's clothing shop (60's) to let her know when someone came in the door.

First time first. So happy to see your Etsy stuff. I wish I could street pick in your neighbor hood. My area when they put out trash, that’s just what it is trash. Love all your videos, no matter what they’re about...

Claudine Carreiro we live in a rural area so there’s no trash at the curb. 🙁 Folks drive their trash to the dump so it doesn’t have a chance.

If you come across any Denby pottery please let me know. I have never seen vintage denby while thrifting but once and it wasn’t in the best shape. Denby pottery is made in England since the 1800s. Love that stuff! I have quite a large collection! Thanks for sharing Sophia! I get so many compliments on that art deco hand vase I got from you, it’s the loveliest thing I’ve ever seen! 🤗💐💜🥰

The rose bowl was gorgeous. It sure sounded like crystal. What would you use that for?
@mygreatchallenge4 жыл бұрын
Back on the days people used to put their rose clippings in it for the roses to dry. Pot pourri, grapes, or just as is for decoration.

@@mygreatchallenge Thanks! I didn't know the part about the roses but it makes sense. I have used them for the other things you described.
