With our Pint-V kits, this Pint -s will still trail hard in comparison . The pint v kit climbs like a monster. We’re going right up steep inclines trouble free. If the pint s could do anything similar they would have shown that and made it a point to highlight that. This is one of the most lackluster fm launches yet. Should have AT LEAST been a battery upgrade.

You can’t just add a 20s battery without also putting in a whole new controller. Even for 18s they would have had to fit the GT controller in there aka PCB respin at minimum, and don’t forget the new bms they’d need to make fit in there…

I was expecting a shrunken 75V controller for the pint s. Could easily make it 1.5k or 1.6k if it had a GT type of controller with a 1p cell configuration. It would be a speedy sleeper pint build which would make the S not pointless lmao.

Tbf, I was also hoping it would be a new form factor altogether, Pint weight and maybe length but XR width and clearance. I assumed it was inevitable that they would refresh the Pint form factor soon, but I guess they're committing for just a bit longer

Even 126v controllers are tiny inside the pint controller box. Look at Ennoid 150v controllers and BMS. They can do it, they’re just money hungry

close in speed (pint XV will do 21-22mph before 80% DC pushback), but no where near the pint XV in torque. The XV is a damn mountain goat. Also WTF rails on the pint are an absolute game changer!

Justin at Fix My PEV can help you. You can either get a pint controller to rewheel or you can use ST Link to solder a connector that will put Pint firmware on it. And basically turn the Pint X controller into an OG Pint controller. That can be Rewheeled.

They've confirmed coming to Pint X, so at least no gatekeeping here. But it does put the Pint S in an interesting spot as essentially a pre-installed accessory bundle. Surprised it's presented as an entire new model, rather than a variation similar to Rally Edition

I bought the PX as my first board after watching video of Jeff finding riders to try it at Camp Seek-n-Shred. At DirtSurferz this year, I asked Jeff about the Pint X BANG bumpers that had been teased for the last two years and he said; "Nah. I'm not developing anything for a format I don't ride." Does this upgrade change anything? I see a lightweight commuter board that is more powerful than an XR. A small board that is easy to throw in the bottom tray of your shopping cart or carry up and down the stairs at the office. Or will the aftermarket wait to see the PX replacement board from Floatwheel before giving the Pint format any love?

I mean technically it's the same battery as an XR so I would assume the power is going to be similar to a VESC XR stock battery. Should be a little more torque-y though since the tire is Pint size

From what ive seen in the video we are only getting custom shaping v1 (angleOffsetRaw, turnCompensationRaw, aggressivenessRaw) with "jumpReengagement" and "singleFootPadEngagement" slapped on top, thats a far cry from even the v2 custom shaping the gt had before it got updated which makes sense considering how little space the pint firmwares had left for them to actually implement something, v1 custom shaping has been in the pint firmware for a looooong time cause its based on the xr firmware so just enabling that would take up next to no space at all in the firmware. A bit underwhelming from what i hoped we'd get when they announced the new gt custom shaping and said they are working on getting that to the pint platform but oh well, at least they are trying right?

Onewheel Tire Guru swapped my entire pint motor assembly, tire included directly onto my pint x chassis! So yeah i think so.
