Hi Mark. Lovely little video, thank you for sharing. Fun personal fact. JINTY was how my little sister used to spell Giant when she was very young 🙃Can't you tell that she was born into a steam enthusiasts family! lol 😆 Nice little DCC conversion. I am considering swapping to DCC as i build Pwll - Y - Ddraig but I can't decide the pros and cons balance. I like the idea of actually driving the loco, being able to double head, sound etc. But I was raised with DC, DCC is expensive (although the basics becoming cheaper i believe) and the cost for sound is horrendous. Which system do you use on your layout? Have you ever regretted going down that route and what advice do you have for someone thinking of starting a DCC railway? Thanks Mark and happy modelling

What would be a proper freight rake and a passenger carriage options for the N.I. jinty ?

I think they were mostly used for shunting wagons around. Trials at pulling coaches were unsuccessful

The livery does suit the Jinty... have to feel sorry for it as the NCC Jinty is going have to listen to the puns on the livestream 😂
