@@Grintendo so weird boyz are also great! But snikrot A. has lone op, a super good ability, and B. His redeploy is guaranteed, unlike a weird boy who sometimes will kill himself by accident or not do anything. I think there’s a good case for either depending on your list or personal preference, both are also fine. Snikrot will certainly do more in combat too, he feels like a fun bully for other enemy scoring units

I think what’s important about these melee heavy armies is to not only be in your opponent’s face, but you gotta have an unorthodox and unexpected thing in your back pocket. With world eaters, everyone expects you to bring angron, but i haven’t seen anyone at my hobby shop or in battle reports use allied daemons. So i keep a bloodthirster in reserves and drop him in turn 3. Doesn’t matter if angron is dead or coming back, the enemy still has to deal with another greater daemon regardless. With orks, i do the green tide but i throw in another heavy threat, like double orkanauts.

The whole second wave pressure thing is why I'm going with beast snaggas, the ability to return models to reserve isn't the best compared to other stratagems but that's gonna be sick for making games more interesting

you mention gaining CP for taking tactical missions and going over when you'd take fixed vs tactical. What I am curious about is, can you get CP from both tactical missions and your grots? Is there a cap to this? I am reading conflicting statements and would appreciate clarification from you or the community. Thanks!

It caps at 1! So you can’t get one from both. But a lot of the time the grots won’t generate one, it’s only on a 4+ so it’s easy to fail, and for the first two turns (often the two most important turns of the game) I typically only have 1 grot units on an objectives (2 often depends on things like what the second unit rolled for their advance, which are guaranteed. You could start them in a transport but I usually don’t have the room). If you discard a cp though, you’re guaranteed a command point going into your opponents turn, so it’s nice to have a way to make sure you have a command point in case the grots fail (they do a lot).

Here's some spice, in green tide there's an infantry enhancement that lets you count your squad as 10 for the detachment rule. What if you put that on a bigmek in mega armor in a minimum unit of meganobz. Rerolling your saves of 1 is pretty wild if you save on a 2 up. Depending on what the enhancement actually says it may not work but if it does that'll be one tanky unit.

double waaagh is very nice with meganobz who get a 4+ fnp in the waaagh. Ghaz datasheet was officially revealed by gw, he does have the warboss keyword so he and his unif benefit from double waaagh.
