The first 3 minutes is Treme, last two minutes is St. Roch, and the rest is the 7th. The western part of the 7th Ward (west of St. Bernard Ave) has been gentrifying the past two years while the eastern half is still rough and seems to have gotten worse during the pandemic.
@christinesyntax4067

The majority of the houses looked remodeled and nice, however the streets and sidewalks are still pretty torn up from the floods. The litter on the streets needs to be picked up too otherwise the Ward looks pretty decent. I love the architecture!

Yes New Orleans is culturally Caribbean. Even though it's geographicaly located in the south, New Orleans wasn't always part of the USA. That's why the culture is different. Most of these homes especially in the 7th Ward was built by the French Creoles and Afro Creoles.

There's a large Vietnamese community in New Orleans East. It's not really the hood but it's surrounded by it.

In my city, if there is a chip on the damn sidewalk they shut down the whole lane and fix it......some of these blocks don't even have an asphalt street...This makes me feel awkward, sad, and fortunate all at the same time.....
