It's not a good idea to walk in the isolated areas of the French Quarter at night. There is a lot of crime.

Hi Jimmy. Really? Good thing I was with my boyfriend but thanks for letting me know. I will keep this in mind for the future. I do plan to go back and checkout the places that were closed because of Covid. Open to suggestions 😊

@@victoriacardenas7738 It depends on what you like. We have been there twice. Both on Amtrak. Lafitte's Tavern is unique. We attended church in St. Louis cathedral...a really beautiful church reminiscent of the Sistine Chapel with all of its fresco's. A Riverboat ride, Frenchman Street, a trip to the zoo, aquarium, and WWII Museum are all great bucket-list options.

I’ve done some google research online for my upcoming travel to NOLA & hotel monteleone was my favorite of the bunch but price wise i may do the holiday instead.. but that carnival carousel theme 🎡 is soo cool 😩🥰
