Ingredients
¼ Stick Unsalted Butter
½ Chopped Onion (Red, yellow, Vidalia, white, green or combination)
½ Chopped Bell Pepper (Any color. I used green)
½ chopped celery stalk
1 tsp. Minced Garlic (Or 1 clove of fresh finely diced)
¼ Cup BBQ Sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's)
1 tsp. Hot Sauce (Any. I used Cholula)
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. Lemon juice (or juice of a half fresh small lemon)
¼ tsp Old Bay Seasoning
1.5 tsp. Creole Seasoning (I used Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning}
1 Tbsp. parsley (Fresh chopped or bottle ground)
7 Jumbo Shrimp, shell off, de-veined
Directions
Melt butter medium-low heated pan
Saute onions, celery and bell peppers until tender
Add BBQ sauce, mix well.
Add remainder of the ingredients except the parsley
Add in the shrimp
Simmer until cooked, likely less then 10 minutes total time.
Sprinkle in parsley and additional chopped green onions and serve
