Thank you again for such a detailed informative video. And it’s great to learn you are human. Watching you fix your wonky curls made me happy 😊 thanks again looking forward to your next video

You’re welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it! And yes, I’m definitely human. Lol. I’m glad I had plenty of wonky bits to demonstrate fixing them. Thank you for watching!

Have you tried the Ouidad Clear Control Pomade? I wonder how that compares. It’s an older product.

I haven’t and I don’t know why because I’ve had my eye on it for awhile. I’ll have to pick it up and give it a try. Thank you for watching!

The touch up gel cream is totally a unique product on the market. I loved it but the fragrance was way too strong for me, so I did end up returning it.
@CurlyChelle5472 жыл бұрын
I definitely agree! It’s sooooo good! It’s definitely coming with me on my upcoming trip to Wisconsin! That’s a bummer about the fragrance for you. I really think brands need to dial it back on the fragrance in their products. Thank you for watching!

Such a great review! I'm very interested in these products. Video request if you're taking any. I have fine, wavy, very dense hair. Do you have any tips for wash, style, diffusing for dense hair? Any suggestions for what to ask for in a trim/cut/style for hairdresser appointment? My hair is currently longer and mostly one length at the moment. Thank you!
@CurlyChelle5472 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I do take requests and try to fulfill them all! This channel was created to help! I’ll see what I can put together. Something like this is easier to demonstrate than explain it it’s difficult to find people with specific hair types who are also willing to be on camera. So sometimes it takes e awhile to figure out how best to present the information for a specific request. Thank you for watching!

That all came out really nice! Impressive! Sometimes my ends sort of fray & may or may not be dry when that happens, but I'm thinking this would work well when it's only my ends that need a touch up. I usually just use a small amount of spray leave in, emulsify it in my hands & sorta twirl the ends. This seems like it would work just as well if not better & I can save my leave in to use as a leave in only lol. I can't recall if you've used or shown using the curlsmith intensive treatment serum? It's water free & similar in function to that balm you used. It's another thing I purchased & haven't used lol. I got that one on Mercari though, for a 1/3 of the retail price, so I had to get it. Now I just need to use it😁

I have no idea how I missed this comment days ago! I’m starting to get enough comments on all my videos, even old ones, that if I’m not constantly checking, I miss some. 😞. These products are very impressive! Oh yeah frayed ends can happen even if they’re not dry. Mine mostly aren’t dry but I get them. I just know this is a very common struggle living in parched climates. Lol. I do the spray leave in trick too but probably won’t be anymore because these work waaaaaayyyyy better! I haven’t tried the Curlsmith serum. Yet! 😂 You’ll have to let me know what you think when you try it! I’m definitely curious about it.

That cream looks good 👍🏼 Sometimes I refresh with the Olaplex No. 9 cream. I didn’t like it initially and I gave it to my younger daughter who gets highlights. Maybe I like it for taming frizz bc it has a silicone?
@CurlyChelle5472 жыл бұрын
It’s really good! Silicones are great for taming frizz! Thank you for watching!

I usually just refresh with whatever cream/leave in I used on wash day. Are products specifically for refresh necessary? How would that cream gel work as a regular gel instead of a refresh product?
@CurlyChelle5472 жыл бұрын
Well necessary is relative. Everyone’s hair and needs are different as are their preferred results. I prefer not to refresh but when I do, I also like to use leave ins but I use the ones that are so thin and watery that they are in spray bottles. This Ouidad gel cream works in a similar way but with better results. On my hair anyway. I really do think it’s quite a unique product in comparison to others out there. I haven’t tried it as a regular gel or cream yet but fully intend to experiment with it! I definitely think it’ll work great for frizz control that way too! Hope that helps answer your questions. Thank you for watching!

Yay! I actually bought climate control feather light touch up cream gel (I think? It's in the red tube) but keep forgetting I bought it😆 so I haven't tried it. Since I'm curious & always trying to see what I can use that I either "shouldn't", or in ways I "shouldn't", I wondered if I could give it a try on wet hair just to see. I just clicked on the vid, haven't watched yet. Just wanted to share my initial thoughts! And clearly I missed your summer must haves somehow🤔
@CurlyChelle5472 жыл бұрын
I can never remember if it’s gel cream or cream gel. Yeah, I tend to ignore shoulds and shouldn’ts as well. My last video showed that! Lol. I’ve thought about trying it wet too. I think it’ll work well as a cream given its consistency. Would probably work well to SOTC as well. My summer must haves video is a few videos back. Must have snuck by you! Lol.

These worked really well for you! I blog about wavy hair and am working on putting together an article sharing other wavy and curly content creators and their hair types. My hope is to give people a way to find blogs/youtube channels/TikTok accounts, instagram accounts, etc of others with their exact hair type. In this video you said your hair is coarse but if you are open to being included in my blog post could you mind sharing with me how you classify your density and porosity? I'll link to your KZbin and Instagram both but let me know if you're active on any other platforms and I can include others as well.
@CurlyChelle5472 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can include me. My hair is fairly high density and medium porosity. Mostly. everyone has more than one porosity on their heads. It’s lower at the roots and higher at the ends. But overall my hair is healthy and not overly porous. I do have a Facebook page but I struggle with the “active” part on that and my Instagram account. I’m definitely a long form content creator. lol. Since I did hair for 20 years on every hair type there is, I am able to help those with different types than my own and I do try to answer all comments. I’m just getting to the point where it’s harder to keep up with them. I’m having a view and engagement growth spurt, which is awesome! It’s just taking me a moment to adjust. 😊 Thank you for watching and offering to include me!

I bought the gel cream, and I think it seems good. Usually this would make me want to go out and buy more products from the line, but I’ve already tried the stronger Climate Control gel and didn’t like it at all.
@CurlyChelle5472 жыл бұрын
I definitely think these products are a bit different from the rest of the climate control line. I love the gel, but I love these even more! Thank you for watching!
