New Pagani Utopia at Modena Motor Valley Fest 2023, V12 Engine StartUp & Sound, Walkaround & Details

Finally, I could see the new Pagani Utopia live; even better, I could film the engine start-up. We are at the 2023 edition of the Motor Valley Fest, which takes place in Modena from 11 to 14 May. The car and other magnificent Italian supercars are on display in the courtyard of the Palazzo Ducale, the seat of the Military Academy. I could admire it calmly and discover the many details of the carbon-fibre bodywork. Even the interiors, as per Pagani tradition, are made to perfection and beautifully finished. Presented on 12 September 2022, the Utopia model will have a production run of only 99 units, all of which have already been sold. The car's structure is composed of a multi-material monocoque in titanium and carbon, while the 6.0-litre V12 engine produced by Mercedes-AMG is located in a central position. With a dry weight of only 262 kg, the engine delivers 864 HP at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 1100 Nm between 2800 and 5900 rpm. All the power is transferred to the rear wheels thanks to a transversely mounted 7-speed Xtrac gearbox, available in manual or automatic versions, coupled to an electro-mechanical differential with a triple-disc clutch. The car has a very low overall weight, only 1,280 kg.

Finalmente ho potuto vedere dal vivo la nuova Pagani Utopia; ancora meglio, sono riuscito a filmare lo start-up del motore. Ci troviamo all'edizione 2023 del Motor Valley Fest che si svolge a Modena dall'11 al 14 Maggio. La vettura, assieme ad altre magnifiche supercar italiane è esposta all'interno del cortile del Palazzo Ducale, sede dell'Accademia Militare. Ho potuto ammirarla con calma, scoprire i tanti particolari che compongono la carrozzeria realizzata in carbonio. Anche gli interni, come da tradizione Pagani, sono realizzati a regola d'arte e rifiniti magnificamente. Presentata il 12 Settembre 2022 il modello Utopia avrà una produzione di soli 99 esemplari, tutti già venduti. La stuttura dell'auto è composta da una monoscocca multimateriale in titanio e carbonio mentre il propulsore V12 da 6.0-Litri prodotto da Mercedes-AMG si trova in posizione centrale. Con un peso di soli 262 kg a secco, il motore eroga 864 Hp a 6000 giri/min ed una coppia massima di 1100 Nm disponibile tra i 2800 e 5900 giri/min. Tutta la potenza viene trasferita alle ruote posteriori grazie ad un cambio Xtrac a 7 marce montato trasversalmente, disponibile in versione manuale oppure automatica, accoppiato ad un differenziale elettromeccanico con frizione a triplo disco. La vettura ha un peso complessivo molto contenuto, solamente 1.280 Kg. Buona visione! 😉

It's not HWA, this power unit come from Mercedes-amg, it's m158. Only Huayra R is equipped with HWA power unit, the only one with N/A engine.

Ho una corvette C6 Z06, molto ben bilanciata avendo il cambio al posteriore, leggermente elaborata, 506 cv alla ruota x oltre 600 cv all'albero x ora 72 kgm a 4800 giri, dai 63 stok, se non si escludono i controlli di trazione e stabilità che si inseriscono a ogni avviamento, guidarla non è x tutti, cosa normalissima invece a controlli inseriti. X mettere a terra 854 cv questa Pagani deve avere dei controlli elettronici sopraffini x renderla guidabile su strada, prima della corvette pensavo più c'è n' è meglio è, ma non è così

Molto interessanti le tue considerazioni. Aggiungerei questo. Le Pagani, in aggiunta per esempio alla tua corvette hanno sospensioni da vera auto da corsa ed un telaio in carbonio rigidissimo. Questi due elementi, in aggiunta certamente ad una finissima elettonica, permettono alle ruote di scaricare a terra la potenza senza flessioni di telaio. Con quella configurazione di sospensioni/ammotrizzatori l'auto è incredibilmente ancorata ala strada. Tutto fondamentale per cavallerie così imponenti.

Per mostrare ai clienti le 2 possibilità di cerchi, quelli sulla destra hanno una semicarenatura in carbonio per migliorare il raffreddamento. Nell'idea ricirda i Turbofan che usava all'epoca Porsche sulle auto da corsa.

@@fafa9493 Eh, cosa devo dirti...secondo me, qualsiasi costruttore italiano se avesse "collaborato" con Pagani fornendo i propulsori oltre ad esserne lusingato ne avrebbe tratto un'ulteriore pubblicità a costo zero. Però evidentemente siamo in pochi a pensarla così. Pagani dal canto suo ha dovuto guardare altrove e la scelta di Mercedes (con intercessione di Fangio) è stata azzeccata. Francamente, trovandomi nella stessa situazione (magari, nei sogni...) avrei optato per Mercedes-AMG senza ombra di dubbio.
