I need these in my life been looking for ages on where to grab this kit :) thank you so much

Hmm first thoughts....... would be good to have hinged number plate holder that attaches to your spare and lifts up to access wheel nuts and is released on the inside of the wheel and you could mount all your wiring sensors to that plate 2nd option is to make a stylish holder that lash over your tyre or mag spokes with adjustable straps and mount your all your wiring sensors to that

But you can always trim the cover a bit and it will fit after that.

I've had 4 Pajero's over the years and never needed to remove the spare. The Gen3 do look ugly under the rear trim thats for sure so thanks for showing me how it's done. If you ever remove one of your Kings wheels can you post the size and offset please? PS still peeling Plastidip off the 18" rims.
@bia4x42 жыл бұрын
Yeah for sure next time I take it off I will check. Haha sorry tried helping by peeling half of one but got lazy, maybe try a pressure washer really close the the rim and it might peel off

Hi Bia, just found your channel. Loving this video. Want to do the same. Can I ask where do you get the black cover for the both side of the wheel?
Great video!! I will definitely be getting this for my pajero

I run the same size tyres, it fits fine you just have to take the wheel lift plate off the spare tyre holder.

Clever. Is it possible to remove the spare wheel carrier totally? Then keep the tire in the back seat..
@bia4x42 жыл бұрын
Sorry not sure if u can, you would probably have a few holes to fill

Wish the Pajero had a better bumper to mount the number plate to so you could use a dirty gear bag to the spare
@bia4x42 жыл бұрын
Yeah I would love to put my number plate on it but it's to flimsy and I've already bent the bumper a few times and would probably loose my licence plate

Можно поставить дверь от pajero 3. Подходит как родная. Там с кронштейном запасного колеса все отлично.

Is it an offset issue with the tyre size? Mines had 265/70/17s in the cover with no trimming since new and with multiple brands? Otherwise great mod and i have a set coming after ditching the cover a while back, i got some grommets for all the holes in the door but to minimise water leakage into the barn door cavity (big ones are 28mm and all other are 12mm (2off) and 10mm/8mm) Also mounted the plate on the bumper (with a backing plate with a plate lamp…came up so good Still playing with camera mount options but as i wanna carry a bin bag without moving or losing things
@bia4x42 жыл бұрын
My standard spare tyre only just fit the tyre cover by less then 1mm i don't know why but it was always a tight fit so when I went up a size it was no were near closing( as many others have comented i could have taken the wheel lift plate off and i knew i could but i just simply didnt want the tyre cover anymore and in all honesty I think it looks good without and make my car a little more unique). Also good idea with covering up the holes with grommets i might do that next weekend!
@matthewlandesmann80492 жыл бұрын
Yeah odd? All good but..mine fit fine even with the lift plate which ive always had fitted
@matthewlandesmann80492 жыл бұрын
Also, aside from the blind grommets i mentioned., the threaded holes on the drivers side where the hinges were can be filled with the champion xmas tree clip (part number TF-3) and i put a dab of sika on the end before pushing them in for a bit more protection
@df51182 жыл бұрын
How did you reduce the bulge on the right panel caused by the cabling?
@bia4x42 жыл бұрын
I just pushed the gromit through and I'm looking at getting another one, I'm not to concerned at the moment not having it in as rain water shouldn't get in, water will only get in if I'm bogged up to there and if I am well I'll be stuffed either way haha
