Just an FYI. I have a 2012 NW and run 265/70/r17 Toyo MTs which actually measure in at 32" and the rear cover closes no issues at all. Otherwise great build up and video series. plenty of good ideas and info for my build.

Thanks mate. I trialled a few tires in there and the cover would always bump on the edge of the wheel. If the cover was maybe 5cm wider it would have fit with the 31” options I was looking at. Although with the 285 there was no way to close it.

I have the same tire size as spare but mounted on an aftermarket wheel with 36 offset and that's maximum offset+tire size that the cover can handle for it to close.

Thanks mate! Currently the hinge that used to support the wheel carrier is just sitting there with the ambition of having an aerial mounted on there at some point. As for the holes where the bolts went in in i haven't sealed them yet i just put the covers back over on the inside of the door. I plan on just covering them with silicone. Cheers -Ryan

The handle as in the handle to open and close the door? Mine is still on there currently I only removed the cover I didn’t take the door handle off

Think the last gen 4 have a different handle location that's on the side of the cover unlike the earlier models that are off to the side in a separate box

Hey mate, re the number plate relocation bracket. You linked the tough toys one but it looks different. You look like you have the Uneek 4x4 bracket, (usually for jeeps) could you please confirm?

Hello Ryan. I have viewed this video a number of times but unless I am missing something you dont actually show how to physically remove the trim but generally talk about the wiring process etc. I was worried about how the door handle would look but you stand in front of it for this entire video so its hard to get an idea as to how it looks. Your videos are great but I am not sure what happened with this one as that was the title of it.

Hi mate I didn’t remove the trim pieces to the cover, the door handle looks exactly the same as it did prior. I only removed the swinging arm

What about the plastic cover for the handle we don't see that ?

plastic cover for the door handle remains mate. I just cut the cover off. The door handle and plastic surrounds are attached by the plastic pins that pop in and out (like a trim piece) I have no desire at the moment to take that off.

Hey mate. I don’t think so. Mine are 32.7 so close to 33 and they wouldn’t fit without a lift.

Hey mate. I don’t have sensors so that was no issue. If you have the rear sensors and plan on doing this im assuming they would be removed also unless you could find a way to re mount them somewhere.

Hi mate I have a 2" constant load suspension lift and it fits the tyres fine, as for the rims I would recommend sticking with the factory offset to avoid them sticking out of the guards too much. Cheers Ryan

@@manminderjit4639 I’m not sure mate these rims weren’t meant to go on the car they were a last minute addition. They are the same as standard Mitsubishi rims offset wise +40 I think

@@manminderjit4639 The offset for stock pajero rims is 46, i owned 2 sets of rims 18" and 17" and both are factory rims that have 46 offset.
