Very neat to see a set-back axle with the Farr air cleaners. Not many configured that way. Looks like it was last driven by a BMW driver...turn signals were clearly never used! lol

😄 almost a shame to convert it back to a normal truck but theres no chance of finding hood parts in decent condition, first one ive seen.

@@Bubbles8V92 Definitely getting less and less common. A construction company here in Pennsylvania is still running a whole fleet of setback axle 359 dump trucks. One of them has been working on a sewer job right out front of my house the last few weeks and it's been fun watching that thing run back and forth and hearing the 3406 purr!

Marty was supposed to sell me the radiator and air cleaners off the 84 you now have. Glad it will be put to good use. Never heard from him after I looked at it

Ya I learned you gotta be proactive, hard to get a callback from the shop, busy place I don’t think this stuff was high priority, great guy great people, but ya, Liz was on the ball, if it was a random shop guy the “I’ll get right back to you” never happened

Great update, really curious about that 8V92... will it run? All the best with your projects, I'm pretty sure both 'new' truck come in handy for parts!

Yes it will once I get the injectors freed up and the bad fuel out
