NEW Pat McGrath Ritualistic Rose Blitz Astral Quad & ChomaLuxe Hi-Lite Creams

NOT PRIMING THE EYES AT ALL when using the ChromaLuxe Hi-Lite Creams. The reason I didn’t do this is because of veins on my eyes. I have to prime my eyes to cover them. If I use these creams without a primer, you can see my veins through the creams. They are not opaque enough to cover veins. If you don’t have an issue with visible veins on your eyes, you can absolutely go with that method. I just wanted to mention this because I am getting a lot of questions about it. Hope this helps ❤️

Mel Thompson Hey Mel! I instantly thought your eye makeup was SO lovely when I first opened this video!! It’s stunning. It solidifies my decision to purchase 2 out of the 3 PML astral quads!!! I love that you ranked them, too. I agree with you on how you ranked them! Finally, I have a question for you. I’ve recently dove into becoming a makeup enthusiast (for the past year or so) & seems like I always am told NOT to place shimmers in your crease....but then on your videos, like with these PML quads’ shimmer shades, you will take it into the crease. What is the “rule” regarding that concept????? Thank you!!!!!!

I’m a neutral matte girl at heart...I’m so happy these quads don’t appeal to me. I’m really trying to get my makeup spending under control, especially around the holiday...so when new releases don’t fit my aesthetic it makes it that much easier lol! I bought the rose quad after convincing myself I own nothing like that special pink shade and I had to have it lol. I think that quad would pair nicely with that small travel palette that she released a while back that came with the loose glitter and mascara. I can just picture that brown shade with some of these shades!

I love the look you created!! I did purchase all three quads. I already had the red one but purchased everything else on her sight. And the highlighters too. So excited for them to come. I thought of you when I seen Pat’s latest post on Instagram where she did one color looks with the nirvana palette. It had you written all over it. 😊. also I just have to add, I love the classic PMG style print on the tubes, it's so classy. Just curious as to whether those are plastic or metal tubes. I feel like metal ones are notorious for breaking and leaking.

I LOVE the Rose palette! And I found with the cream that you only use the tiniest bit - I mean a teeny dot works well and covers a decent area. I like the shimmer of the cream, it's intense, but you have to really go super light with it. That Rose palette - OMG it's divine.

And this palette is the one that got me! I don’t wear blues and bright greens (I’m kinda basic that way), and I think that I can get a close enough look to the Iconic Illumination palette using my existing PMG and ND shadows.
