I love all of the 2019 opulence things. The matte trances are not new - just the barrel colors, which are STUNNINNNNNNG. The quads feel opulent. The shadows are beautiful. I love the cream highlights. Everything is.. just... so... 🤤

Got my Ritualistic Rose yesterday and went for the Rose Quartz shade first as well (knew you would love it since it falls in the same part of the spectrum as Night Creature). I love the two pink shades. I got the Nirvana quad when it released too, but had it delivered to my parents' house since I was on vacation that week and didn't want to risk having it stolen off the porch - my mother took it upon herself to appropriate it to use as a birthday gift, so she's holding it hostage for two more weeks before I can use it.

Yeah...I picked up Nocturnal Nirvana at Sephora it is so vibrant and beautiful on all brown skintone--Her marketing is ingenious tho! First, She came out with the large palettes...Then she dropped the 6-pan mini pallets using the shadow formulas she would have in the first part of the larger pallet...Now she's dropping the quads with specialized formulas! So if you are new to PMG you can mix and match the 6-pans and the quads to "customize" the large palettes that you may want for yourself...and, she still maintains her PMG quality and profit margin...If that ain't some "Black-Girl-Magic smartness" in action and you can't hate her for it!

Hi Alicia. I received my quad today too. It is stunning. I’m kind of surprised by your commentary about Antique Gold. I feel you about it being on the dry side but it applies as smoothly as the other shades. The shade of it is definitely true to its name, Antique Gold. I grabbed the Ritualistic Rose set with the quad and the 2 hot pink lipsticks the second they became available! I now have all 3 quads and I absolutely ADORE them🥰🥰Pink is my favorite color, so that was a total bonus! I passed on the Hi-Lite creams, I just felt for me they were unnecessary. If they would've been rose gold or green, I may have grabbed them. But I have enough cream highlighters in the "basic" gold and pastel shades. Beautifully demoed as usual, I love your eye looks🥰

Oooh dang. I have to say that judt by looking the Rose Gold quad is everything I didn't know I needed💕💕. Antique gold looks like a soft and subtitle on my dark skin and not 1970's hard core disco. I'm here for roses in the fall.

Picked up the Ritualistic Rose palette to complete the trio. I also picked up the blue astral highlight as well. Alicia, Ritualistic Rose is my FAVORITE. I tried the Iconic Illumination. It is gorgeous. But, for me I don't think I will wear it enough. Also I thought the brown shade, Blitz Brown, is almost identical to Illicit in Sublime Bronze Ambition, which is the other Pat McGrath palette I own. I think the colors in Ritualistic Rose could be worn year-round and mixed in with my other palettes (hello, Natasha Denona Sunrise palette!) I am keeping this one. I just wish I could have waited for a sale, as you said. But sometimes if you wait you lose out. Thanks again for a fantastic video!

I have to wait until Friday for my Ritualistic Rose palette. Wahhhh. I want to play now. So far, I think I really like the Antique Gold color. This entire quad reminds me of a fancy vintage set with rose decorations and gold leaf trim. I bet that Antique Gold will look so good as an eye liner made with the Mehran mixing medium.

@@aliciaarcher Yes! I really like it so far, except that if I use too much of the mixing liquid, it stings a little bit when I apply it as an eyeliner. Less is more on the liquid for certain. Also worth noting that I have very sensitive skin, so other people may not have that reaction. On the upside, once applied, it doesn't budge at all. Tbh, I didn't expect this one to turn out to be my favorite of the quads, but it's the one I've been wearing the most.

@@nykka3 I do nykka3 but it's back to the drawing board once the fix plus dries. I've even used the mac mix medium, I'm afraid of hard pan eventually with that. I also have used with silicon brush. Best but messy also.
