@@cykeok3525 He knew pure raiders with no upgrades wasn't going to win against an enemy that can chase them; it's a very cheesy style of play and not one that works at decent level. He kept it dramatic by making a bunch of mistakes but I don't think they were entirely intentional lol.

I was really hoping one of the new RTS games would get me back into the genre, but after seeing the state of Battle Aces, Stormgate, and ZeroSpace I can say that the game that will bring me back is Warcraft 3 and this channel is the reason. Thanks for all the great content, Grubby! Especially seeing the bronze league games has made me want to get back in there.

Grubby I just wanna say the insane amount of WC3 games we're getting from you is really making my breaks in the day infinitely more enjoyable. Yeah like a fifth ability only for mounted heros like a charge or a pounce but i can see how that could be broken imagine you got your squad going to kill some creeps then a tiger just jumps on your troops dealing a ton of aoe damage then the potm and her archers if any just shoots whatever is left be unfair but cool lol

That’ll be to op. At level 2 trueshot archers would then have 900 range with improved bows. Glaive throws would have 1350 range, basically attacking from one end or the screen to the other.

@@leeva93 I didn't mean multiplication, more of an addition. But I see what you mean. For range units Archers (When upgraded) have the furthest range excluding siege units and buildings. Trueshot if it affected range would only increase that disparity.

@@Marinealver I wasn’t multiplying. Wc3 range goes by 100(s) not (1). Archer has 500 range, long bow adds 200. One talent with range true shot would be another 100. So at level 2 it’s 900. Imagine level 3 with 1000 range archers and don’t forget auras effect hero’s too. Potm, naga, keeper with 900 range attack. Imba.

well for reforged mode surely destroyed the balance in reign of chaos campaign. some of them got easier like human campaign and some got even harder like orc campaign especially the last one since infernal cant be easily killed by towers and pierce does not deal much (pierce has bonus dmg to heavy armor). in classic mode, they are untouched.

Yes, unarmored vs siege damage. Raiders suck in 1v1 combat either way tho, extremely slow blades, no range, no bounce. PotM also has a good aura that boosts damage, and Grub's warriors had good upgrades.

Imagine they introduce a new debuff like Slow Poison for Searing Arrow, to justify it for being an Orb effect. For example: *Seared:* A fire attack that deals 4/8/12 damage per second, and reduces the target enemies damage by 50% for 4/5/6 seconds (1/1.5/2 seconds Heroes).

What I would have liked to see would be for Searing Arrows to get the effect that Human Orb of Fire currently has (starting out weaker but eventually getting stronger), and make Orb of Fire have the splash effect it originally had but adjusted to be actually useful.

Plus: it would be very close in use with Naga Sea Witch's Frost Arrow (-30% to -70% movement and attack speed). The only difference being a DoT instead of flat damage. Slow is very good for kinting ... but there are many poisions in the world Even if it would stack with the orb, might be brutal. I grow up on League of Legends, and... there is a teemo who makea others by poision blind. Which is chance on missing an attack. There are paralysing poisions, however ... long lasting posiin that stacks up with the orb... Might be sick, especially on night harras workers when PotM could hide in the dark.

This same strat in combination with early shop for clarity, POTM needs to always have mana for searing. + right and early usage of moonstone and sentinel. + if need be naga second for a timing attack on burrows before burrow upgrade. I bet with clarity you can already push blade or even FC back to base and threaten burrows before orc has second hero. Imagine synergy of clarity with shadow meld. And if im not wrong searing arrow is 12/24/48 dmg that makes lvl 5 potm spyke insane. Way stronger than lvl 3 aura. Even tho lvl 3 aura is strong so on lvl 6 you have 2 valid options if enemy has CC. Making POTM strong on lvl 5,6,7 as well as in early 1,2,3,4. Crazy... No?

I think it is still to small buff to make POTM useful. For now POTM at 10 level has lesser normal damage than Naga Sea Witch at level 5.... And before this patch NSW at lvl 10 had 71 damage with frost arrow, while POTM had 69 damage (with searing arrow) and I don't need to mention that frost arrow also slow enemy. After this patch POTM has 87 damage and still NSW is much better. I think they should buff POTM again. Maybe it would be better to make her searing arrows bypass armor and do something like chaos damage. Or maybe splash damage? What do you think?

Searing Arrows buff simply wwon't change anything, it's a fundamentally flawed ability, all it does is add damage, on a champion who has very low base damage.. Level 10 PotM with searing arrows, will do 87 damage (adverage) per hit., compared to Naga Sea witch doing 71 damage, you're taking 3 ability points to have 16 higher damage than the seawitch.. who is applying a 70% slow on her hits. Ontop of that, +48 is still less damage than you'd be getting from simply giving her a venom orb. Searing Arrows dosen't need a damage buff, it needed a utility buff.. make it do burn damage over time (that stacks with venom orb) or give it a heal reduction effect like fire orb, or give it splash damage.. make it do SOMETHING more than just flat damage buff on a low base damage hero.

I got an idea right now hear me out. PotM is inbalanced and not that fun to play, it needs q rework imo! Nobody is picking q owl ability so to make potm fun and balanced you just revert back to searing arrows from before this patch and change q ability entirely. Totally remove owl and make a skill that makes priestess jump off the tiger to chosen location. It would work kind of like Panda ult where he splits and Priestess would get a little less movespeed but tiger would be able to attack on its own. After some time tiger "jumps" to priestess and mounts again. Some more thought would be needed to not make it buggy but hey imo its possible. What do you think?
