I think adoptive home means that the nephilim toons aren’t necessarily from West march. They arrived from different lands and all of the hero’s congregate in Westmarch as a hub.

The gems platinum is to help newer players because there are more newer players than there is regular players right now, and its merely impossible to catch up because a daunting 9 months of grinding just to get to the point the regular players are at now means impossible catching up, causing those new players to just quit the game when they realise this, less players means less revenue for the company, so catering to everyone is all they are trying to do, plus who cares if you lose 50 platinum per gem, there are common familiars that sell for 1500 platinum atleast, regular gems should'nt even be considered as a source of platinum income thats just pathetic

Destroying Westmarch makes sense because this is what happened in almost every diablo game. I also would like to see Blizzard stop mentioning battlegrounds in updates. There have been several updates now, and battlegrounds only get worse. What they're saying here is essentially they're taking health, damage, and secondaries into account while matching. This can't be true because whales would never get a BG. I don't think they'll truly do this

the new cosmetics are beyond stupid. everyone running around looking like reindeer lol! changes to the market just totally f&*ked anyone that isn't willing to convert greenbacks to platinum. at 50 plat for normal gems you will never be able to buy even a 2/5* gem for 16k. on my server leg gems are already back to normal pricing. I wish I could make sense of it for you Misery, but it doesn't make sense any way you look at it. The changes to BG aren't going to fix anything, and sorry but if you are 1.6k res and lucky enough to make Legend you should not be thrown into matches against whales. every time the devs touch something they make it more p2w friendly and screw every one else, and I say this as someone who has spent quite a bit. Truth is I knew when Microsuck bought Activision this game would turn to shit just like everything else they touch.

They mean it is 400 plat per gem power. 1 star rank 1 gems are 1 gem power, and minimum will be 400. 2 star rank 1 gems are 4 gem power, 5 star rank 1 are 32 gem power, and will be 1600 and 12800 respectively. 1 star rank 5 gems are also 32 gem power, and they could already be bought for 12800, so this just brings the minimum price for all gem power to 400.

I dont see them destroying westmarch for one single reason: money. Theres no way they want to spend the resources to A) destroy a functional zone B) Spend the necessary resources for another hub town. This would essentially lead to a net zero and i dont think theyre going to spend development resources this way.

So after the phantom market, all the whales will be running around looking like prostitutes. At least we'll know who's in bed with Blizzard . As for the battle pass skins, the last two seasons have been really bad, and now they want to make us look like reindeer. This is not an update its just rinse and repeat

The logic behind the marketplace change is simple - they want us to get no Platinum from selling the unbound items we obtain. That way we will be forced to buy Orbs and Platinum for real money from the Store. And you can trust me on this since it comes from your favorite BK player with a pitiful build.
