You can catch them big spotted bass early in the year 4 and 5 lbs at disscunds reservoir you should check it out one day

When I lived in Virginia that was one of my favorite lakes for crappie….but man I had a hard time with the bass there!

Were you able to pole down there? If not I know you were wishing you had spot lock. I fish shallow fast rivers with a fortrex and it will tire you out quick and I have to re tie quick or end up in some trees.
