@@triz313 I can't speak to what she was doing, be it on the phone or not. I can say that during the live video that Kevin Gleason was shooting, it took her over 35 seconds to get to the disc after the call was made. What remedy do the players and PDGA members have, when the PDGA official who receives a salary and an all-expense paid trip to the tournament in exchange for fulfilling one responsibility, completely fails in that responsibility by not paying attention to tournament play when she was needed most, during a 2-person playoff where there is no other player on the card to second a call? However, I believe that the PDGA has more information than we have here, and, as such, I have to give them the benefit of the doubt in the accuracy of their decisions. The game is changing, from the 1970's, when I started playing DG, to what it is today, and the PDGA has to change with it. I think they have the best of the sport and competition in mind.

One of the guys was having a bad round and on one of the last holes he threw his club like 100’. I just laughed at him and he didn’t get mad at me at all. In fact it cheered him up a little. Does it kind of suck to play with someone being so negative? Sure. Do I let it affect me? Absolutely not! Let them embarrass themselves. Does any other sport discipline this type of behavior? They don’t as long as they don’t direct it at other people. Like when that WR (can’t remember his name) took his helmet off and threw it at the ground and it bounced back up and hit him in the face. I should be able to stand on the lane screaming at you and have zero affect on how you perform. I always liked in the movie For The Love of The Game when it shows how his character completely shuts everything out when he’s pitching. This has always been part of sports and life. I agree they should be talked to and given warnings, but not just give them a season long suspension. Fines should come first. It’s technically taking free speech away. Again as long as it’s not directed at anyone, let them have a melt down and watch them dig their own hole.

I love your videos. Thank you for all the great work. I have concerns about the current organizational structure of the PDGA. The process where the Chairman is appointed and subsequently selects three assistants to make decisions seems to lack sufficient democratic input. Could we consider an alternative structure, such as a representative board composed of 12 active players, elected through a confidential voting process? This would ensure a broader range of player perspectives are considered in the decision-making process. Also, on sensitive topics like the inclusion of transgender athletes in events, it's crucial that the governance reflects the views of the majority, as opposed to a small minority. The current system might not adequately balance these interests. A more representative board could address such issues with greater fairness and inclusivity.

Stop pretending the pdga operates fairly or by a standardized set of rules. First off, there are no objective rules in disc golf because the sport is self policing and players lie. Second the disciplinary process has zero transparency from complainants to who they are complaining about, zero. In real law, where fairness is valued, people have a right to see complaints levied against them to properly answer, the pdga will NOT show you those complaints and thus you will not have a clue on what specifically to answer to. Lastly, the disciplinary board including Robert leonard are a JOKE of a group of people, anonymous, allowing them to hand out punishments like they spin a wheel. I was attacked by dahlin boenke and Jerome Knott at an event because Jerome wanted to run his mouth and lied about me stealing discs, dahlin pled guilty to a misdemeanor and Jerome and goons used pdga banned language and hate speech. Dahlin got 6 months suspension for class a violation. Jerome got 6 months probation for class c. And another individual the pdga refused to try to identify. But my mean words got me the same punishment as j ray. There is no standard, fairness, or objective bias in these fart knockers decisions. This system cuddles crybabies and cowards who would rather complain after the fact than approach someone on the card.

Class D offenses go on all of the time at the tournaments. TD's are not going to call anyone on their drugs or drinking because they are doing it too. I suspect many of these discgolf shops/clubs/TD's are simply drug fronts/money laundering mechanisms. The suspect drug front TD's/shops never have prices on anything and their player packs are super lame and consist of old outdated stock they dump on players. Florida has this going on.

People with tempers never change. Oakley is a repeat offender. It's no surprise he is being cited again after saying "I can only control how I behave moving forward". Only question is, when is the next big nikko incident. Anyone who believes he's changed is a fool.

So can Jonathan Ray be charged criminally? It seems 30 grand of missing money would be a very serious crime, embezzlement or fraud maybe? Not super hip to legal terms but it seems a crime was committed. Eric has been a headcase for years. I was never a fan but dude looks like he could use some mental health help for sure.

If you bought discs from him and have proof you could take legal action.

If you’re going to be a professional athlete act like it. You shouldn’t behave like a child when you’re on the course. This is what my coaches in Jr High and Highschool taught us back in the 70s so we wouldn’t act poorly when we were adults. One may not always agree with the rules but if one knows them, one should know the consequences of not following them. Unfortunately life is not always fair. Just my two cents.

I understand where you’re coming from and I agree with sports and emotion. It’s when the professionals start acting like spoiled brats. For me that’s a little to much and unnecessary in my opinion. To each their own. Thanks for your reply and voicing your opinion. I can respect that.

Not really an issue at the touring pro level, but there are thousands of cranky dudes that will complain if you so much as even hit a quick little weed vape on their card at a sanctioned tourney, even a C-Tier

PDGA claims they follow WADA, but they don't actually test anyone... 1 - It's expensive, 2 - They know a sizeable portion of the pro field would probably test positive for recreational drugs, so they ignore it, 3 - PEDs are probably not that big of an advantage in disc golf, though they could still be an advantage

In fact, I have never heard him say anything that puts him as any kind of direct representative of the PDGA, and he has in fact been quite critical in many cases of their handling of things, and just like this one, criticizing vague terminology like reasonable, and explaining how it seems that their definition of reasonable differs from his.
