I just have a basic request for Perplexity. There is differnce between putting the search bar at top vs at the bottom is great. Its the difference between a search engine and chatbot. I don't want a chatbot.

in the case of Perplexity it really is both an AI chatbot and a search engine. might be a nice user setting if you could choose where you want the input bar...
