What a long review about PM-01. Thank you for your efforts, I couldn't find any detail review about it. This will be a serious help for me.

Or a car. 9:15 Good dash. This is a decent, rather stylish 125. Great headlight. Fatbars, too. I like the blue one and the white one, seeing you asked. I like how you feature bikes other channels ignore. Or have never heard of. Nick J

Hey Mark, that is a really cool bike. Very different looking certainly with automotive design features. The 300 version would be the pick of the bunch here in Aus. However, the 450cc capacity is a growing market for new riders & riders after a small runabout 👍 Thanks for your time & energy🥇

Nice 125, front light reminds of the biker scout from return of the jedi, especially on the white bike, good review.

Nice. 👍🏻 I love the design. One question though, isn't the headlight low beam supposed to start by default on modern bikes? (like it does for example on a CFMoto).

I thought so too but it's ok to have a separate switch because it has DRL's You can start it on the side stand without clutch too.

Rather interesting. And definitely agree, looks like the Peugeot lights on that. Looks pretty cool for a 125 to be fair and seems a good little bike. I like the front light 👌

thank you very much for reviewing this bike! Unlike many, I have been waiting for it before it even officially came out, and now is the time for me to sell my ninja125 and get this one 😊 I don’t really understand why they didn’t sell more of it in 2023, and 2024 is being pretty poor so far too, even though the price is very agressive (at least here, in France). The roads are similar to english ones, and since I don’t like being on high speed roads, i don’t mind the 60mph close to max speed, otherwise honestly it is just best to pass the permit and get a 300 at least.

@T3-RIDER

That's what I thought, most 125cc riders want the max 15hp, these would sell well if they did make 15hp

11kw is 14.75 bhp....close enough, besides it us more about the correlation between bhp and torque rather than just 1 extra bhp.

@@PeterYates-t7z I got a quote on Friday from Bikesure. It is not on the online lists but I called them and they came in really competitively - same price pretty much as the Honda CBF and Zontes G1. Previous quote on this from Lexham was 4x the price.

Sounds like a great bike, with a lot of positives, however imho it is no looker. I thought it was pretty ugly from the side, only for things to get worse at the front end, and I can't say that I'm keen on the tail end either. An excellent 125 let down by the looks. Aesthetics are subjective so I'm sure that many will love it, but it's not for me.

Good review as always Mark, I think I`d go for the Sinnis Terrain though, better looking and loads or storage and a grand cheaper, I prefer the adventure bike look.

Good review as usual Mark. Looks are subjective and the looks of this don’t do it for me, but whatever floats your boat. My Honda SH125i euro 5 scooter is slightly quicker and cost a little less with it’s included top box, it has much better fuel economy and would probably make a better year round commuter. My Meteor 350 has similar or slightly better fuel economy and costs about the same but obviously requires a licence. Not a bad little bike if the looks appeal to you and seems like it would be cheap to run, it depends on whether there’s a Peugeot dealer near you I suppose.

I like the bike as shown, BUT, when you csn get a 411cc Royal Enfield Himalayan for only another £200-300, you begin to see this machine as a little overpriced? The "Himmy" will do the required 70-75mph, will go anywhere /do anything AND do it cheaply and reliably, something the Peugeot has yet to prove! Okay, you're goingvto need your A2 license, but who wants to be riding around on "L" plates forever anyway? Like I've said, great bike, but not likely to be a COMPETITIVE OPTION, in the 125cc class, and for those eho already have the full license, then not the VALUE you would be looking for! If you want something a bit different, then maybe it's worth paying for, but more than £4k for a 125 seems a bit steep to me?

@@motorsforthemasses the Japanese "big four" have been out of touch for some time, as demonstrated by the small numbers they are selling compared to Chinese stuff! (and that includes all the badged models!) Japanese prices are WAAAAY to much in comparison. As for your OLD ZXR400, isn't that a track focused, 4 cylinder "race rep" derived bike, rather than a cheap and cheerful user friendly, "do anything" motorcycle? How much to enter into THAT exculsive club? FYI, if you want extra tractability, from your 411cc "performance machine" there are overbore kits and cam replacrments which will make motoways a breeze, if a little more thirsty and vibey! But standard Himalayans ALSO offer 80+mpg, so you really need to ask yourself WHY YOU RIDE BIKE! Is it your Summer Sunday TOY, or the cheapest viable method of personal transportation, beyond shoe leather and pedals? I suspect the days of "toys for big boys" are coming to an end?.. especially as the global economy seeks to reduce carbon fuel dependancy? Car usrrs are already seeking alternatives, and cheap to buy, and frugal to own bikes are making a comeback! Sub 125cc bikes, will also disappear in favour of electric bikes which do the "city commuter" thing a lot better!

@@eddzuki0If no-one wanted scooters they wouldn't sell in the huge numbers that they do. Simple, clean, easy to use, automatic transmission, good storage, and perfect for a lot of commuting - it shouldn't be difficult to see why scooters are so popular.
