It’s like ‘yeah, an oil pump’ and then the oil pump has about twenty things that have been refined over the years. If I would start over again I think I would want to learn about these things and make my profession of it. Seems to me to be very satisfying, although I also realise that everything has its downsides. Bolts that won’t loosen, parts that don’t fit while you are under time pressure etc. But still.. Franky reminds me of my old '05 3litre Camry. My car Looks a bit dated on the outside but low mileage engine changeover (ex Budget rental) 240,000 hard kms to a 145,000 km engine + new bearings, steering bushes, new quiet tyres etc. drives like a new car.. Hoping Franky has no more problems out in the Big world, having everything sorted beforehand! Great Job Moritz!

The book publishers can easily publish a book for mass distribution in a maximum of two to three weeks (The machines will crank out 2877 books per hour, 24/7, but the publisher will not be able to put pressure on the authors to accept an abnormally low rate of return unless they make them afraid the book will never be published...

It looks like you got yourself a masterpiece. I am sure Moritz will be watching your next adventure with pride. Excellent work done by the team. I simply love that almost everything is the good old tried and tested mechanical technology for a change. Bikes these days has evolved so much to a point it’s we don’t get to marvel on human skills anymore. Everything is so electronically managed that only robots can fix them when there are any problems. With carburetor system, you can even do your own tuning when needed on the go. Fantastic!!! 👏👏👏

Noraly, practice using the kick start first thing in the morning, when the bike is cold. That's when it's hardest to start, so that's when you need the practice most...and it's the most likely time you'll find the battery flat from some unknown drain while you sleep.

Well, just wow, one of the best totally engaging, informative, and interesting "tv" programs i've ever watched, I uselly watch itchy boots while doing my most hated household chore, washing up. I was so transfixed the water went stone cold, and my wife had a right rant when she found me stood static at the sink, just watching😂 Gonna be hard to beat this episode, and she's not even on the road yet 😊 SO looking forward to this series.

Noraly, the last 60-90 seconds of this episode is stunning. Your eyes are just shining with utter glee for the start to season 8. Please remember that you will be travelling with a 68 year old virtual passenger, and I really want you to live your dreams and be happy and safe. So you be careful , if you can’t be careful then be good and if you can’t be good you have the best time of your life. PS memo, I have two crazy smart sons (both married & living their dreams) and one digitally adopted daughter called Noraly doing the same. 😂🥰🦅🦅❤️

Dear Noraly... Finally! I'm sure there are many of us who were waiting for the day when your bike would be ready. I can't say that in my particular case, I didn't enjoy the restoration of this improved and incredible machine, but of course traveling is the ultimate adventure (as you have of course known for years). All the good fortune to you in this new journey, and looking forward to enjoying what is to come. Greetings from Chile!

Noraly-If you find it awkward kick starting that big motor while sitting on it it may be easier to put the kickstand down, get off the bike, stand on the right side and kick start it with your right foot. You can even jump on it with your body weight if you need to. That's how I started my 1968 BSA 441, cold start.

Congratulations, Noraly, on completing your bike build and kudos to Moritz and his team for building you such a fantastic motorcycle. I will say, when you first introduced us to your next bike, an old 80's machine, I was super nervous for you. However, to have such a specialist like Moritz focus on simplicity and specifically addressing known problems with the bike, I have every confidence that you will not only do well, but you will thrive and excell on your next adventure. I found your channel several years ago when i was recovering from cancer treatment and could not ride myself. You have been such an inspiration to me to get well and get back on my bike. BTW, I ride a 2017 Yamaha Super Tenere. Go team Blue. Thank you for being you and Happy Trails.

I’m so excited to see your upcoming journey! I own a KLR 650 and my bucket list trip is from my home here in Colorado, up to the northern-most tip of Alaska, then down to the southern-most tip of South America and back. I’m actually purchasing a big cruiser bike within the next year… not for the journey, but so I can preserve the KLR that I inherited from my dad for the trip. It would mean everything to me to be able to complete my bucket list trip on my father’s motorcycle.
