Nothing is as enjoyable for me as seeing my works in actual print form. There's a special feeling seeing the physical form of an idea.

Yes, a lot of Neistat in this one.. which I'm sure Ted is away of his view on whether you're copying or being inspired by. It doesn't bother me, though, Neistat's style is dope. He stopped doing daily vlogs, so I'm happy to see a touch of it on this channel. I love Ted. I've been watching your posts for a while now. You're the reason I blew a bunch of money on my first camera and lens, and will definitely inspire me to buy more gear and snap more pictures. The truth and beauty of images needs to be celebrated and admired more now than ever. Thanks for your work.

Thanks Ted for an inspirational episode. I'm working on my first zine right now, just a little hand printed and bound project to hand out at a social gathering that we have the second Saturday of each month for a group I'm part of (North Texas Film Photography); but I really hope it is well received and leads to much more in my future. Keep up the great work. I'm really glad to see the return of the mail episodes.

Another very nice video worth slowing down to take a look at. And I'd still like you to do a discussion on Color vs. B&W photos. We all feel the difference but it's hard to put into words what is going on down deep. It's not just having the lights "on or off"

Hope this helps. KZbin changed the way notifications are handled. On the home page of the channel in the top right corner is a bell icon. Click on that and make sure notifications are turned on.
@rejeannantel11858 жыл бұрын
I think you're right Todd. I just click on the BELL Icon and it said that I will receive a notification each time a new video will be published. So my guess is that KZbin gives you now 2 options. You can follow a channel without receiving notifications or choose to receive those notifications. I think that makes sense because I wish to be notified for specific channels that are of importance to me, as "The Art of Photography" - await for them enthusiastically. BTW Ted great video and thanks for sharing the books and Zines with us. Many thanks also to the people who sent them that are part of your/our great community of passionate and enthusiastic photographers (of all levels).

That F3 is gorgeous! Mine's all beat up and worn. It has a dent in the pentaprism and you can see the brass underneath the black enamel on the corners of the body, but it still works like a charm. I just need some new glass. Manual focus AIS lenses aren't cheap! 📷💸

Thank you for your kind words and sharing my work Ted. I am glad you liked it. A few people asked where to see more of those 'postcards' heres the full project www.theresnoonehere.com and the prints are here www.oof.co.nz/product/there-s-no-one-here-limited-ed-print-set For the people asking where to start with printing zines or books. There's many places, Blurb is the most known one, but very expensive and somehow limiting if you pretend to sell it or share it. I also recommend HP Mag Cloud they are cheaper but also part of Blurb. I strongly recommend trying photocopiers and risographs methods as well as local printers. If you are lucky to live in NY, check out the NY Artbook Fair done by MoMA and Printed Matter. If you live in LA head down to the LA Artbook Fair also done by Printed Matter laartbookfair.net/ those are great events to meet with photographers, printers, distributors, artists, etc. Get printing!

I haven't seen anybody answer the question about notifications yet. It is my understanding that KZbin did change the way this works a few weeks ago. You no longer automatically get notifications for all of your subscription. After you subscribe and the "Subscribe" button turns into a "Subscribed" button, there will be a bell next to it. You have to click on the bell to turn on notifications. You have to do this for each of your subscribed channels.

Please start asking people to click the bell icon to get notifications rather than just click subscribe! I've heard other KZbinrs complain that their views are down because they don't have enough subscribers receiving notifications. I've been receiving Art of Photography notifications to my iPhone for months now, and I think you should definitely ask people to do this so that you get the views you deserve, and more of your subscribers can actually get your great content!
